Criston homestay

An absolutely lovely 3 days spent at Criston Home Stay. Hosts were very helpful and made me feel very at home. Room was exceptionally clean, bed comfy and it also has mosquito mesh door and on windows. Highly recommend. *****

Good room with really clean washroom . It's really calm . And I had a good sleep. Located a residential area and a bit away from temple. We pay 130 tul tuk . Please notice that the uber may charge you more that the actual price. Restaurants are nearby . We felt really comfy with family. Thankyou

The homestay is on the second floor....It is very difficult for senior citizens to climb the stairs....The family who are hosting this homestay are Tamilian Catholic Christian family....Especially Nirmala aunty the owner, is very helpful and wonderful person....The rooms are maintained well....With basic amenities provided....The rooms are air conditioned....There is parking space ,available at this homestay.....They also provide food at extra cost....Amazing Tamilian cuisine cooked by Nirmal aunty....We enjoyed the breakfast of Idli and Dosa, with Sambar and Chutney.....Also they provided us dinner....amazing rice and rasam, very comforting food....Overall a wonderful stay with a humble family....Let God Bless You Nirmal aunty !!!

It's a great homestay at an affordable price. You can request breakfast, and the owner cooks delicious dishes. The place has a good vibe, and you'll enjoy your time there. Don't forget to carry mosquito repellent.

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment, it was convenient having our own kitchen to make our morning tea and also having a sitting area. Bed is comfy For your info, It was easy to catch a shared auto into the city but we struggled to get a share auto back home. We used normal auto which was fine but more expensive. Thank you

Can really recommend this place! It's a bit further out, which can be a shock in the first moment. But after the first moment, you'll realize it's the best place you could have ended up! The couple wich provides the homestay is really friendly and she makes the best Indian breakfast I had before! Because it's a bit further out, its not as loud in the night as in other places in madurai, wich helps you sleep. The couple helps you out in every way if you need something (for example a taxi, where they make sure you don't get ripped off). The room was also very nice! In total: I can recommend and will return 100%! Very nice people, great food servings and also good location! Thank you for the wonderful stay! P.S: They won the prize for best homestay of Tamil Nadu in 2023 and I can really see why!!!

I stayed there for 1 night. Price is 850rs. per night. The room is nice, the ac blows in your face if you have a upper-bed so its uncomfortable and cold. Free water.

This is absolutely the best place to stay in Madurai. The hosts were awesome and even arranged for me to see the annual jallikattu celebrations at no charge.
