Viha Inn

we have stayed for 3 nights - visiting temples nearby and also to attend the engagement function of my friends daughter. one of the caretaker was behaving very rough. no courtesy at all. we asked whether they will arrange for coffee in the morning - but he replied roughly that it is no duty to arrange. For two people per room they have provided only one towel - when we asked for another 1 they said they cant provide and for 3 days they have given only one towel. cleaning was not done even after telling the caretaker lady.

We did not know much about this place but ended up staying here coz the Viha Quality Inn was full at the time. However this was a poor choice for us. This is really a budget service apartment. There isn't much service as well. The staff did not understand much and was not very helpful. There are no toilet papers and basic amenities in the rooms, there is also no phone so you can't call down to reception and as we were on the higher floors, each time we wanted something we had to walk down and ask him. Also the door knobs to the rooms and bathooms kept coming off and the rooms and the bathroom was musty. Suitable for backpackers. Not really recommended for women.

The hotel has high standards and kept well. The staff are courteous. For a short stay it is quite a luxury since the rates are not too high.|They have a good restaurant with local cuisines. the buffet spread is very nice.|The rooms are spacious and clean.

Decent and well maintained serviced apartment in Kumbakonam. Good place to stay with a family and friends while visiting a temple town. Located little inside from the main road in the peaceful residential area.

It was good for a service appartment and there is no food available there and water is also not complimentary you have to pay for it.

Good hotel to stay inn. Have to book rooms early. A decent place to stay in.
