TAJ SAMUDRA

I had a good experience at ports of call Taj samudra. They had a lot of varieties in the buffet section. I would like to thanks Dilhara and his team for their efficient service and politeness. Dilhara also suggested some nearby places to explore in Srilanka which made my trip more interesting. I wish to come to ports of call again with my friends to enjoy the meal.

Excellent food. Loved the cuttlefish dish and the mocktails we had. Amazing ambience, one of the best in Colombo. Exceptional service by Lasanatha, Wajira, Eranda and the team. Thorougly enjohed our dinner.|

The main highlight of this hotel is the service. The room boys and the supervisor was very courteous and kind. The room was pretty decent and well worth the money. It is very near to the Kasi viswanathan temple and the Mahamaham theppa kulam. It is also very close to the railway station. If u r looking for a budget accommodation with easy reach to town, shopping areas and temples then yes i would recommend this place for families.

A budget friendly place. Small in size and not very cozy. The beds were good and it is centrally located with easy access to many areas. For the price, you can't complain too much as it is around Rs. 900 for double bedroom ac. Can suggest if you are on a tight budget.

This is a budget hotel with standard AC rooms. Rooms are well maintained. Well mannered people at the reception. The restaurent was closed during my visit and was told that they will leave it to someone on lease to run the same. No car parking available in the hotel but they are arranging valet parking.,

stay was comfortable enough to crash in for a night during our pilgrimage tour. but do not expect even a spec of luxury in it. the deal showed rs 1000 while booking( we took a pay at the desk option). They demanded rs 1300 during check in . they also said they did not receive any intimation about our booking through booking.com. Previously we had our stay at rayas grand at this price which is a 4 * comfort... so Its obvious you get better options at this price.

stayed for a night. traveled with family. room is small and good. AC works. Parking not available at hotel. Need to park down the road in another hotel (forgot the name). I stayed for a night and parked outside the hotel. Theres a veg restaurant for breakfast. Overall, a value for money hotel.
