Nandini V Travels from Kumbakonam temple Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff Mr. Viswanath ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Located fairly near prime place of Kumbakonam town. Studio Rooms were very much suitable for family. Parking facility was convenient. WiFi is available. Friendly owner and great service. I liked the place and suggested to few of my friends. Go for it.

Hello everyone, I am writing this review with profound frustration, as this marks the third time I have stayed at this hotel, and each experience has been increasingly disappointing. The sole reason for booking this room was its gas facility, yet this time, I encountered a particularly negative experience. I initially contacted Mr. Viswanth, the caretaker of this property, on April 23, 2024, to inquire about weekend room bookings. Despite my attempts to secure a room for the next two weekends, he informed me that no rooms were available. His response was not only unhelpful but also delivered in a rude manner. It's perplexing how he expects customers, especially those traveling with a baby, to finalize dates without providing room availability. After much effort, we managed to confirm a room for May 10, 2024, with a shared booking. Despite driving 300 km with a child and arriving at the hotel around 9 PM, we received no prior call or message confirming our reservation. Upon arrival, Mr. Viswanth informed us that he had canceled our room as he had allocated all rooms to a single customer who had booked them all. This led to a heated argument, as we were left with a hungry child in our arms. His blatant lies and sole focus on monetary gain were evident throughout the ordeal. Eventually, after threatening to involve the authorities, he reluctantly provided a room that he had falsely claimed was allocated to another customer, despite all rooms being unoccupied. His behavior was not only rude but also lacked empathy, disregarding the distress caused by our crying child. It was evident that he prioritized keeping rooms empty over accommodating customers. Furthermore, the maintenance of the room was abysmal, with cockroaches found crawling around, half-empty water bottles left lying around, and bedsheets appearing unwashed. It is unclear whether the owner conducts regular inspections to assess the upkeep of the property. In light of these experiences, I strongly believe that the owner should reconsider entrusting Mr. Viswanth with the caretaking responsibilities of this property. No one should have to endure the hardships we faced, especially when traveling with a small child. I urge you to refrain from booking this property in the future.

Staff are good, rooms are peaceful

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of SV Homes . Everything about the Homes was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner.

Rooms clean.. Stray dogs inside the lodge.. Lack of service people.. Parking difficult..
