Iyyangar Guesthouse

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days. We had a great experience. The rooms were good enough and the bathroom was also very neat and clean. The staffs , especially Mr. Pugazh and Mr. Bhaskar (receptionists), were also very polite and very responsive. The air conditioning could have been better but they made sure to rectify it immediately. Worth the money. If you're looking for a budget hotel with good amenities, this is recommended.

Rooms are okay. Seems to be old but they are maintaining it clean up to a level... am giving 3 stars as AC switched off every 1 hour with a sound and not worked properly. Location wise good

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Especially the reception Baskar was very helpful since we came in a huge number of people. They went beyond to ensure our stay is comfortable.

First ever hotel with no shower, customer friendly reception. No proper amenities like blur TV, no wifi and treating online and direct customer separately.

Recently stayed in this place. I would like to say for 1500rs per night for this hotel is definitely not worth. It is just an average hotel which can be worth of not more than 800 and it has a traditional bed unlike spring beds. The hotel is far from any place if you have reached by public transport with the family and senior citizen it would be a hassle to manage. Overall its an average stay and not worth the price i believe there are other good options for 1500rs in Kumbakonam.

Rooms in iyyangar guest house was good, their guest house is near to madam street which is 1km distance. Service needs to be improved . We got rooms at ground floor. In that guest house our room name was Ganga.. They had spacious dining hall, one hall. They had kept different river name for different rooms.

Reasonably well maintained good rooms especially suitable for big family groups to have a nice stay. However, it is to be noted that the staff seem to be not adequately trained or groomed by the management. We were surprised to the dirty bedsheets that were replaced after reminders. No bottled water or toilet hand wash soaps and towels are not provided by the hotel. Please do not book your Breakfast while booking the room online as there is no restaurant inside and arrange from elsewhere outside or ask us to go to a hotel that they have tie up. This place has got adequate cae parking space with comfortable approach. Hope the management take note and make necessary amends in the larger interests of the guests/tourists/pilgrims. Thanks.
