Hotel Sri Selli

Car parking is there. But you have to tell the reception to open the gate before reaching the hotel one km away. Otherwise they will not open the gate. It's a very big issue AC in the room. When we remove the key, all switches get "Off". When you insert the key all lights IB except AC. Then yih have to ask the reception person to come and swich in the AC. Otherwise AC will not work.even in summer. In a nutshell, it is waste to stay in Sri aselku hotel Big Street Kumbakonam. So I will NIT recommend any one to stay here. Not worth to pay 1250 per room of 2 bed

Tried advance room booking for family 3 adults and 2 kids, but the representative who attends the call responded in a very rude manner saying that if room is available we will give you else we can't provide. Either they should take the advance reservation for room accomodation or they should give some assurance on room availability. The representative simple told that we cannot do anything if there is no room when we arrive. He didn't give me the options for room reservation in advance.

There is no complimentary breakfast or even a water bottle. The room was okay. But the glass provided is very dirty. The bed is very hard and not comfortable. The car parking is very congested and roads are also. The AC room costs 1350rs per night which is higher without any complimentary . The check out will be 24 hours that is one positive thing in this hotel. The service can be better and with some additional benefits. We took family room for a day but AC was not working almost half a day.. We had complaint many time post 6pm they repaired. The room is very hot like oven its deep summer day. No compensation not even 1 or 2hr extra / graze time given when we log out. Forced us to logout on sharp check out time. Bad experience

Good location but very bad rooms, not well kept and charged arbitrary rates for the rooms. Given their location , they are sought after but the rates are exorbitant and not worth it. Please Consider a different hotel if you can. Our rooms were smelly and not cleaned well as well.

I visited the hotel recently, I learnt there is 24 hour check in availability at this hotel and the staff is good. The biggest problem is that the rooms are extremely pathetic, there is a foul smell that hits you as soon as you enter a room, specifically to say it is similar to the one when you enter into your house after a month or 2 long vacation. The toilet pipes were broken, heater facility is just fine. There is no direct sunlight available as you have to come out of the hotel as it is structured in that way. Please refrain from wasting your money on this hotel as the room quality doesn't justify the tariffs...

Centrally located in the busy market area. Rooms didn't have enough natural lighting/view. No lift, no luggage assistance, no potable drinking water. No wifi. Actually charged rates (with GST) were much higher than the advertised rates. Disappointed.

Good hotel. Located in the main town. All famous and must visit temples are walkable distance. Mami Mess is near. Need to follow up with the hotel staff for all your needs like TV, AC remotes. Have local travel services also. Very ancient town and as old as Varanasi in the North. Bus and Train stations are about 3 Kms from the hotel. Auto charges are high, one has to bargain beforehand. Nice and safe place for family staying.
