Hotel SR Residency

Worst residency. Doors not getting locked. No hygiene. Old furniture. Worst bathrooms. Completely lost my mind for the room rate they are charging.

Room service is very poor, what ever luggages even if it's senior citizens we have to carry to our room... Cleanileness is poor, they charged me Rs. 2900 for 4 adults and 2 children, and especially underground parking if we park our vehicle it will take at least one-hour to come outside... Very critical space and comfort.... Very bad experience had in this SR residency

They have charged me rs.1000.00 (advance booking) for double bed room allotted room no213. The room have no ventilation, totally no window. Ib bath room, no hot water, no mirror, and no soap tray to keep your soap. They supplied only one litre water bottle. When I asked for AC to be switched on, the staff told, it will be another rs.800.00 per day. A day robbery. No coffee or tea supply provision. Better not to book this hotel

Overall good accommodation.We four of us friends travelled on a Navagraha temples trip.Got this stay by offline booking.Car parking was quiet scary, so steep underground.We got big room (suit like) with 2 double cot beds.Hot water, AV was good.Surely a budget stay @ heart of Kumbakonam.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 days. Mr.Saravanan who is the proprietor of this hotel is a very humble,polite person who takes care of the guests very well and also arranges travel to temples if needed. Overall the staffs working in this hotel are very good in assisting the guests. Rooms are also good . Can also recommend for families.

Very worst residency to stay. Room was so dirty and no maintenance at all. I have planned to stay for 3 days but even one day i could not able to stay.

Very poor reception. No Lift is working. No Credit card swiping machine is working. Response from the reception is not cordial. They look little impatient and arrogant. Communication is a big problem. After all a hotel is hospitality business and a qualified and educated person at least at the reception is expected so that a visitor can communicate comfortably with the receptionist. The language is a big problem. The receptionist at the desk is epitome of absolute arrogance.

An average hotel. Stayed in a big suite, the cots are big and useful, but the room shape is bit odd. The rooms were clean, but had to keep windows open for sometime to get the odour out initially. Had difficulty in getting hot water in bathroom. Not a good idea to use the below restaurant. They take a lot of time (>1hr) to prepare food. Quality of food is good, but costly when compared to other locals.
