Hotel Saravana Bhavan

Visited Saravana Bhavan near Kumbakonam main bus stop, expecting good quality food based on the brand name. But honestly, I was disappointed. The food was average in taste, and the quality wasn't up to the mark. The hotel wasn't very clean, and overall hygiene could definitely be improved. Not what I expected from a reputed name like Saravana Bhavan. Hope they focus more on cleanliness and food quality going forward.

Had a wonderful dinner with Family last week. It's near to the bus stand. The foods are so tasty like original saravana bhavan. Parotta - 30/piece. But, it's worth for money as 1 parotta is equal to 2 parotta in the size. Roast at 60 rupees. The service also very good. Highly recommended.

Worst service, no chutney for dosa or idli, if we asked they will tell it's on the grinder, at 7.30p.m, that too in the bus stand location, I prefer not to visit in future, the above dialogue is from both the owner and supplier

Don't go here for Name sake. Worst parota and coffee. Too expensive

Went for breakfast at 7.45 AM assuming they would have standard menu options (By seeing the name of hotel Saravana Bhavan). But unfortunately on the menu I was given with Pongal and idly as the option. No Methu vadai even waiter said it's getting prepared for last 15 mins, I was expecting atleast during the end of me finishing the dish but no luck. Pongal was ok and can rate 2. With Kumbakonam being famous for their filter coffee and thought my taste buds would be satisfied with the filter kapi, but that was another night mare. It was a pure tamarind nut coffee powder.

I have been a regular visitor to Kumbakonam and will have my breakfast here every time. The hotel has lost its charm all through these years and is just there for name sake. They have only a few dishes without much variety. Taste has drastically come down. Sambar taste was very bad during my recent visit this December. Coffee also tasted very average. Am already thinking of avoiding this hotel during my next visit. They also have rooms which i don't have any idea.

Sanitation :If You Traveler, I Advise Using Bisler And Aqua Water Bottles For Best. Otherwise Water Tumblers, Tables, And Drinkware In Hotels Require Care.Restroom And Handwashing Needed Under maintains. Items : Serve Rice, Sambar, Rasam, Ladies Finger Kottu, Kerai Kuttu, Appalam, Payasam, Pickle, And Pulikulambu On A Banana Leaf. Taste : First Of All, Being From Trichy, I Anticipated The Highest Quality, But The Rice Was Fully Cooked. Rasam And Payasam Are Great, And Sambar And Pulikulambu Combine Flat . Good Tasting Kuttu. Payment : options include upi and cash; typically, cashiers are requested. Additionally, a lodge is provided. Overall Experience Visit One Time.Out Side Of Hotel Open Chamber Too Much Odor. Poor Road Way Visibility.
