Hotel Le Garden

Stayed in the family suite & it was worth every penny. Spacious rooms & good air conditioner, clean toilets. Budget & Family friendly atmosphere. Ample covered car parking available. Having a vegetarian restaurant in the basement & food is tastier. Complimentary breakfast provided & it was excellent. Lovely Location where you can cover many temples in Kumbakonam. Highly recommended

The hotel is on a busy four way junction. We (2 adults + 2 children) stayed there for a night in their Deluxe AC room. The extra bed was kinda lounger bed. Our room was facing the road, one side of the room was a complete glass wall fitted with curtains. Day time may be noisy for such rooms facing the road. A lift and hot water facility is there. The intercom didn't work in our room. As it's a night stay, we didn't bother much. It's manageable. Car parking is there.

Very poor customer service. Kept finding new ways to annoy us with even basic services lacking. Did not provide complimentary water and argued they gave. Keycard did not work multiple times. Door lock sometimes does not work and opened just like that when we returned without even Keycard.

||Worst experience with front office support. The response was extremely careless. I'm very disappointed. This is unacceptable. Rooms not as per expectations. No service support from hotel staff. Poor quality of bed sheets and towels. Wash room mug and tub is in bad condition. No wifi provided.

I recently stayed at Le Garden, Kumbakonam, and overall, it was a decent experience. The hotel is located at a prime junction, making it convenient for travel and accessibility. I stayed in a Standard Room, which was of decent size for two adults. The basic amenities provided were satisfactory, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff, including the security personnel, were very friendly and welcoming, which added to the positive experience. However, there are areas for improvement: The WiFi coverage inside the room needs enhancement, as connectivity was inconsistent. The washroom requires renovation, as it could be more modern and well-maintained. Overall, it's a good choice for a short stay in Kumbakonam, especially due to its convenient location and friendly service. With a few upgrades, it can provide an even better experience for guests.

Room was decent saiz, Bed was hard as rock we got back pain the next day. Ac was noisy , bathroom was oil and rusty. Not recommended .

i had the misfortune of staying in this hotel for three days and they charged me Rs 3,400 per day inclusive of breakfast. The digital key did not work and every time we had to get their to use their master key. During the entire stay of 3 days every time we needed someone's help to enter our ROOM. The staff at the reception did not feel guilty at all and in fact laughed it off as a joke. Since I had already paid advance was forced to tolerate their inefficiency and arrogance. The rooms were very poor standard for the price paid. They did not even provide drinking water bottle. The breakfast was cold and the attitude of the staff was totally indifferent. I had booked tax for temple visit for two full days and one half day through the hotel itself. The rate quoted was Rs 3,700 per day of 12 hours and 200 km. Any extra km would be charged at Rs 16 per km and any excess of 12 hours would be Rs 300 per hour. On second day we had done 15 hours but less than 200 km so they charged me Rs 3,700 plus 900 for the 3 extra hours. On the last day i used the car for half a day 6 hours and 100 km. The hours extra was 2 hours and the km was 120. They ignored the extra hours but since I had exceed the 100 km charged me for the full day. The yardstick used was to their advantage on each day. I found this attitude and arrogance totally unacceptable but they refused to budge and insisted I pay for the full day which I did since I had a train to catch. Even after informing them that i would give them a poor rating they simply did not care. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. Rayas or Balaji are any day better where the staff are courteous and the service excellent. This stay at Le Garden left a very bad experience in our temple visits which was the redeeming factor. I would give them a rating of less that zero if possible

Never stay in this hotel, they will post in Trivago , goibibo, and many platforms as they have the facilities like Wi-Fi and many, but many of the listed facilities are not available, u won't get even a good water bottle and even Wi-Fi also u won't get , so if u take a room it is totally waste. Completely money minded, stingy guys
