Great location. Close to few interesting temples. Not far from train station.||||This place has its glory days way behind and needs updating. You can see that the walls and floors have not been renewed for a long time. However the rooms are big and quite well equipped. The price is not bad, too.||||Helpful staff it's a bonus.||||Needs refreshment and Wi-Fi. Lack of free internet access was the biggest problem for me. The elevator could be important for some travellers.||||I believe that prices should be lower before renovation of the place.||||Restaurant Hotel New Aryas is a fantastic food place situated in the hotel building. I am not sure this is same business, however it's very handy to have so good eating place at dormitory.||Large choice of Indian dishes will make happy any traveller.

Awesome place and perfect location. The rooms are spacious and neat and comfortable,with a walk-in wardrobe. They have a balcony too. Again communication is a problem as Tamil is the only thing there. The washroom have a bit old fixture but everything is in exceptionally good working condition.Real value for money.

This is a standard hotel situated in an excellent locality very near to the important temples and shopping area in Kumbakonam. There is ample car parking space. The rooms are good with a private bathroom having hot and cold water. However the room I was given did not have a geiser, but was reported connected to solar heater which was not effective. The staff are very receptive and helpful and on our request changed bedsheets etc.daily. They may not do this normally it appears.|The room was spacious for two persons with air conditioner,TV and a small closet to keep our clothing.|There is no restaurent attached to this hotel, but there are good restaurents within walkable distance.|I found this hotel good for small trips of not more than 3 days.

Positives 1.) Prime location- everything is almost at a walkable distance 2.) Parking available- as kumbakonnam has small roads and parking on roads are almost not feasible. parking is a necessity 3.) Lift- If elders are with you Lift is important 4.) Hygienic and clean- There are hotels which show good pictures but don't deliver but that's not the case with this hotel as it delivers a clean room. Negatives 1.) Rooms are a bit pricey but facilities were good

Centrally located opposite Sri Kumbeswarar Kovil, on the Thanjavur road. Well maintained, clean restrooms, lift facility and ample parking space. Staff are courteous and helpful. Suitable for families. No restaurant, but good options available neatby. Sri Mangalambika Vilas (since 1914) is just 400 mtrs. Since the road construction is going on inside city, it is better to approach the hotel from Thanjavur road side via Sri Kumbeswarar Kovil.

One of the cleanest places to stay in Kumbakonam. 1.Spacious parking, 2. Clean rooms with very clean toilet, Hygiene is very well maintained 3. Courteous staff. Ideal for families, with Old people & Children. Centrally located - walkable to all the main temples. Would highly recommend this place.

Easy accessible from railway station. The room was neat and tidy. Service was ok. Still room to improve. Taxi services are too costly almost double the amount they are charging. Restaurant, breakfast and dinner are good. Not advisable for lunch.

Spacious parking. Hotels, shops, temples nearby. Located at a prime location. Restaurant not available due to this pandemic situation (comment posted on 08th Oct 2020.) Room service need to be improved. Polite and friendly employees. No grace time for check-out time.
