Hotel Temple City

We recently visited Kumbakonam for a 2-day temple trip and stayed at Temple City Hotel. Our experience was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the hospitality was top-notch. The staff made us feel right at home with their warm and attentive service. One of the highlights of our stay was the food - it truly felt like home-cooked meals! The idly and sambar, especially with channi, were incredibly delicious and comforting. It's rare to find hotel food that matches the taste of home, but they nailed it! We're already planning a longer stay in the next two months, and without a doubt, we'll be choosing Temple City Hotel again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kumbakonam - whether it's a short trip or an extended stay.

It is my heartful Gratitude to the almighty for having an opportunity to stay in this Hotel to visit my Targeted Temple. Nodoubt the location, though it is away from the congestion if city , it gave a pleasant feel that we are at a Farm House, with rich & organic vegetables mixed homely complement Breakfast, Lunch & dinner on our order basis. The services of the staff are Excellent. For the first floor, mini lift facility for the Senior citizen is suggested, depends upon the demand. Otherwise it is very very idle to stay with the families safely since high restrictions for using hotdrinks, NV & other antisocial activities .Because of the close supervision & monitoring of the Proprietor personally ,with the advise of the Two Senior IAS Officers of his family , the safety & security & services are 100 % satisfaction of the customers. Rooms: Rooms were clean and neat. Had a comfortable stay. Bathrooms were okay but got to know that management is renovating the bathrooms. Service: Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Definitely would appreciate the care taken by them. Restaurant foods were tasty and homely. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast with limited dishes ( only idly and pongal). If any other dishes are required, guests need to preorder it. Location: The hotel is situated at the outskirts of Kumbakonam and nearby to Swamimalai. For the people who would like to dharshan at Swamimalai Murugan Temple, this is the go to place.

One of the highlight with the stay was to get home style food at a hotel which helped our toddler a lot. The persons at the hotel and the restaurant were such sweet souls who never denied any support at all times. Had a pleasant stay and experience.

Room was very spacious for five members. Very well maintained. Staffs are very friendly. Kandeeban the manager at hotel was very supportive. He treats guests as family members. Overall a very nice stay. I'd recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful and homely stay in and around Kumbakonam.
