Convenient home stay near to Swamymalai, location away from the temple. Owner is super helpful, they helped with hot drinking water for needy and also tea/coffee. Packaged Drinking water is arranged in every floor, free internet is also available. One can get food ordered through food delivery apps to this location.

Nice place to stay. It feels like 1 BHK home. The only issue i felt is the ventilation problem. The rest is good. It's at affordable prices with A/c

We stayed for 3 nights and our stay was comfortable. Ideal for family who wish to cook themselves. we have to carry our own cooking utinsels. they provide a gas stove. Calm and serene sorroundings. The owner stays in the ground floor with his family and is very helpful. Location is close by to many temples and easily reachable from the ring road.

Stayed for 5 nights with families of 4 brothers. Rooms are good. Proprietor is decent, well mannered, cooperative and helpful. Provided assistance in securing transport for local and outside pilgrimage places. His meticulous planning helped us to cover in 3 days various temples, in and around Kumbakonam without difficulty. We recently had the pleasure of staying at Thirumalai Homestay for three nights in an A/C room and honestly, it was a one of a kind experience for us! The warm welcome from the host and his family made us feel right at home after an exhausting 25 hours journey. The property, located a little away from the hustle and bustle of the city, made our stay peaceful while the clean rooms equipped with all the amenities (including a kitchen) gave us cozy and comfortable feel. We also fell in love with the deliciousness of the homemade veg meals and authentic Chennai style tiffins during our stay. The host, Thirumal Sir, ensured that we have a fulfilling trip by giving personalized recommendations for local temples and arranging the transportation literally at ANY TIME of the day. From a 4:30 A.M drop at the bus stand to a late night pickup, he made our travel safe and worry-free in all possible ways. We are absolutely grateful and can't thank him enough for being so thoughtful and helpful! Being a spiritually knowledgeable person, his words and guidance added an extra flavour to our stay. As a whole, our trip was an amazing one and we would love to stay here for the second time if we visit the place. Whether planning for a temple visit or looking for a serene vacation in Kumbhakonam, Thirumalai Home Stay is highly recommended for sure!
