Disappointing Stay at Hotel Gateway I recently stayed at this hotel on last week and was thoroughly disappointed with the condition of the hotel. Despite its potential, the hotel's infrastructure is in dire need of renovation. Major issues I faced: * Extremely old building with visible patches on roof and walls, raising safety concerns. * Door lock didn't work properly. * Broken windows. * Unclean, outdated mattress. * Yellow-colored water with a strong drainage smell. * Non-functional lift made climbing 4 floors a challenge. * Broken AC vents, inadequate cooling on summer days.

1/5 - Disappointing Experience, Avoid This Hotel I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel, and I strongly advise against booking here. The building is dilapidated, with broken doors, windows, and no functional lift. The room's air conditioning didn't work properly, and the water quality was appalling - it resembled drainage water with a foul odor. The rooms were unclean, with dust accumulating everywhere. Every step left a dusty footprint. The hotel failed to disclose these issues before booking. The lack of maintenance, hygiene, and basic amenities made for an unpleasant stay. Unfortunately, my experience was a total waste of money. Pros: None Cons: * Broken building and infrastructure * Unclean rooms and water * Non-functional AC * No lift facility * Poor maintenance * Lack of transparency

Gateway Hotel is the Worst hotel in kulithalai.. Nothing will be provided properly other thaan 4 walls of room. No Parking No Maintenance No Clealiness No room service Full of Spider and spider webs all over the room and Bathroom Full of mosquito even in A/C room. (Just a name sake it is A/C room) killed almost 100+ mosquitos till early morning 3 o clock. We will get yellow colored water in bathroom (Sample images attached)

Patch work This hotel needs full renovation But they are actually doing it All the way to room varanda , room , corridor all area is under patch work but not fully completed. Rooms clean but not beds Roof area bulging so we have fear might fan fell down . Hot water available but recommended because rust colour water is flowing for nearly 2 buckets. Old AC doing its work. CCTV camera available so no need to worry about safety . Cockroach sharing beds We had fear in nights because of bedbugs thankfully we hadn't attacked by it. 1500/night for 2 ( Fixed Price ) Extra person 250/- but no extra bed provided. No board for hotel need to find. Only plus in hotel is prime Location i.e next to busstand that's it.

Its totally waste one. Money waste. We booked double cot room through mobile. After reaching hotel they said only triple cot only available. Aged my mother is with me. So we accepted that one. After that, there is no room boy, self service only. After reaching room, it was dirty and they wont changed the bedsheets and pillow covers. In bathroom there is no libht. Totally hotel gateway in kulithalai is total waste of our money and dis comfort.we dislike this.

I stayed in this hotel with my family to visit temples in kulithalai (kadambar kovil, Ayermalai, sivayam & thiruengoimalai) . This place is very close to kulithalai bus stand and 1km from railway station,while the Trichy International Airport is just 1 hour drive away. This hotel has both AC and Non-AC rooms. AC room costs 1500 while non AC room costs 1000 for 24 hrs.||It is pretty decent hotel in that area . The people working over there are friendly and they will help you to visit places around kulithalai

We had gone for a marriage ceremony and booked this place, had booked A/C Rooms. This place is at the bus stand and nearer to the kalyana mantapam. The hotel has a CCTV camera but does not record. The bathroom is not so good with the wash basin tube is open and falls on the sink below. The water gets stagnated and what is spitted on the wash basin falls below. The people working are friendly and assist your needs. The A/C is always functional which is good and they have LED/LCD TVs. They also provide free wifi and was working good.||||The hotel is decent provided they fix the wash basin pipe otherwise please ignore.

Very worst building , room inside ugly wall ,spider web, damaged toilet, no cleaning like public bathroom, no room service, staff cheating,I got bitter experience, I request every one don't decide this lodge.
