Beyond Community

Last February 2025, I stayed there.. The surrounding was naturally pleasing to me ..ginger cats welcomed me , i was quiet afraid of the dogs though. But those were friendly to me .. Had to walk some distance outside the property ( not so far away from the property)to buy for food or snacks , But it's fine, As i enjoyed the surreal. There's a kitchen opposite to my tent having fridge, gas, we can cook though.. well i didn't cook anything . the property has been maintained by the akka ( I don't knw her name ) service was good had to thank her this is my first stay in auroville, Never been in a tent house before, I loved the tent stay. at night times, These cat been howling around the tent(but I didn't mind though, I'm a cat person)Can't wait for the next visit to auroville

Wonderful for dog and cat lovers who want a camping-like experience on a tranquil wooded sliver of an old cashew farm. My son fell in love with the cats. The 4 dogs on the property are lovable and pretty funny too. We stayed for 6 nights in one of the 2 glamping-style tents. Slept very comfortably with the AC and it's so nice to sleep-in because the tent is dark and blocks out all of the light. And the bathroom at the back of the tent is very convenient. Nice set-up, just getting a bit old. Was hoping for an Auroville "community" feel, like a hostel, but the dorm-style beds in the one hut weren't full when we were there, so no socializing with guests. Enjoyed the staff though, they took care of us very well and the owner has excellent advice about the best restaurants in Auroville. He was very helpful in helping us find our way there.

Very basic in nature. Nearby restaurants are 1-2km away, road is really bad. No activities in property, so it's very hard to spend time in such unreachable location.

It's a Tree house (6 sharing) very spacious as well. Decently maintained for now as they are planning to shift the place else were. They have lot of pets(dogs and cats) which are well socialised. This place gives us a sort of calmness since it's little interior from the main roads. Recommended for a peaceful vacation. If you are taking your family I would prefer the Tent which is for family people (Separate staying for family).

This place is beautiful. If you're looking for a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere that is green and close to nature - this is it. It's located about 20 minutes from other parts of the city so it's quite accessible that way. We didn't face any issues related to this - and living in nature definitely makes the travel to the city centre and back worth it. Even if it's multiple times a day. We stayed in a tent - which was gorgeous and well ventilated. It has air conditioning and a nice loo attached to it, with a cute little garden out front - which opens out to an even greener surrounding of the property. The hosts are very helpful and super chill - and are accessible through the hours. The campus also has a few dogs and cats that are just lazing around everywhere - very friendly and approachable. We felt pretty personally attached to the place once we left - that's the magic of the place. Definitely coming back again if another Pondi trip is planned.

This cute little cosy place in Auroville will offer you nature, peace and quiet (sight of some varied species of birds can be expected too.. including a Peacock!!!). The host - Parshva is very kind and helpful to suggest you with places to eat/things to do. Lakshmi Akka is the caretaker who is a sweet human, who'll assist you with anything you'd need to make the stay comfortable! The place has pet dogs and cats if you are an animal lover, of course I'm slightly upset with Leo (pet cat) as it ate my chips Lol! Some really good cafes and shopping places are nearby and the property offers you calm, solitude as well as good friends if you prefer socialising! The best part of this lovely tent is that it has a private bathroom and is equipped with an air conditioner! No doubt the place will help you relax to the fullest.

It was the most amazing 2 days we spent in Auroville, peaceful and calm in the middle of a cashew forest. The tents were unique, super comfortable and the staff and host were incredibly friendly. Would totally recommend 10/10, Thank you beyond community

Just wow . no words to explain. The ambiance, people, cats, dogs and the peacefully and gentle vibrations of earth is equal to happiness literally which is found in beyond community. The stay place was clean and hygenic + the washrooms were also clean and maintained with hygiene. This is a must try place for travellers and people who wants peace. So yes 200% recommended by me. Just that keep in my keep mother earth and beyond community clean make sure you dispose your own litter.
