Solitude by Nature Resorts and Stays

I recently on 13th April 2025 stayed at Solitude Kotagiri with my wife and our 2-year-old child, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. A special thanks to Mr. Murli, who took great care of us and ensured our stay was comfortable. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and everything was in perfect working order. It also featured a 40-inch smart TV with a Netflix subscription, and we were able to play some cartoon channels for our little one, which was a bonus.|We opted for vegetarian food throughout our stay and thoroughly enjoyed every meal. Mr. Murli even prepared some special dishes on request for our child, which we really appreciated. The resort is surrounded by lush, green tea estates, creating a peaceful and serene environment--an ideal escape for anyone looking to unwind in nature.|Behind the property, there's a vast tea garden (not owned by Solitude), where we took a lovely long walk. No one stopped us, and we spent a few hours exploring and soaking in the beauty of the surroundings.|If you're planning a trip to Kotagiri, I highly recommend spending at least one night at Solitude to experience the tranquility and delicious food it offers.

Excellent rooms with great mountain and tea estate view. Food is good and excellent location. Reaching the location is not difficult. Very few meters we have bit narrow road. We can easily connect with kotagiri town. One of best resort in kotagiri. Some extra activity like table tennis is there.

Excellent ambience, pleasent and quiet place. Nice food and cleanly maintained rooms. Good for family stay. The rooms are located in the most beautiful place surrounded by mountains and plantation. Very relaxing and enjoying stay. Must visit resort with all excellent facilities.

Solitude by Nature Resorts and Stays is a perfect escape into peace and greenery. True to the names of their rooms -- Serenity, Harmony, and Tranquility -- the location offers pin-drop silence and a feeling of total seclusion. You will wake up to birdsong, misty hills, and an unmatched view right from your spacious room. The food is homely -- their South Indian and North Indian options are both satisfying, though the Chinese dishes didn't hit the mark. The teas on their menu are definitely worth trying. It's important to note that there are no restaurants or cafes nearby, so all meals need to be ordered here. They prepare everything fresh, so lunch and dinner orders must be placed at least an hour in advance. The staff is warm and well-trained. Special shoutout to Murali and Augustine, who were just a call away and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. One suggestion for improvement: the Google Maps location (last 200meter) is misleading. It leads you to a private residence next to the property. The board for "Solitude by Nature Resorts and Stays" isn't very visible either, which makes it easy to take the wrong turn -- so double-check the directions with the resort in advance.

I would recommend this place to everyone. Very quiet place like its name, "Solitude". The owner Mr Sen is a wonderful person. Always ready to help. The staff are also very helpful. Rooms are clean and the food is good. Stayed there a week. Absolutely no regrets

Surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, this place offers peace and relaxation like no other. The rooms were spotless, and every meal was a treat -- delicious and freshly prepared. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Truly a memorable experience -- we'll definitely be back!"

It was a quite nice experience of stay at Solitude. The place is not far from main road yet it has a wibe and view of forests. Modern and new construction. Staff is nice and cooperative. They took proper care, we were late to reach, so they noted and kept dinner ready. Food is great.

An excellent stay with a great view. The rooms and food were very good. It has beautiful green cover with lots of beautiful flowers all around. The staff took excellent care throughout and were very courteous. I would definitely recommend this place.
