Absolutely fantastic B&B at Kotagiri. The place is wonderful, maintained spotless. Mr.Arun was a wonderful host and helped us a lot with arranging return to Bangalore when our car suddenly developed an engine issue. Eco conscious and sustainable in how the resort is run, simple ,tasty vegetarian food. The staff are courteous and catering to your needs. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The nature trek, that Mr Arun himself conducted, was insightful and my kids thoroughly enjoyed their first trek. The tea and homemade jams are an absolute must try. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend. The highlight for me was the wild Indian Guar family that was grazing right outside the fence when we reached the resort.

We had an excellent vacation at PrakritiLaya, it ticked all the boxes for us for being a perfect vacation spot. The place is near to Kotagiri bus stand and accessible to necessities. The property felt very homely with neatly maintained rooms and bathrooms. The gardens and dining area are also very well maintained. Fresh homely food is available, food is only vegetarian which is what we were looking for. We want to especially thank Arun for his hospitality, we felt at home. His passion reflects on how he maintains the property and engages with guests. He accompanied us for an informative tour of tea factory. He also conducts tea trail and biodiversity nature walks. The property is suitable for kids to play outdoor and indoor games. The staff were friendly too.

Very beautiful home stay nestled in between the lovely tea estate. Our host Mr.Arun Ganesh has a great knowledge about nature and biodiversity. . . . He personally accompanied us for tea trail walk where we got to lot of information starting from tea plucking manually, and now how it has been to turned to machine plucking , , tea processing hardship of running a tea estate etc. , and about shola forests which brings rain to western ghats, , rooms are great good is great though not much variety but homely feeling . Not to forget the home made jams we get which is personally prepared by Mrs Ganesh. One must definitely visit this home stay. It's a great getaway . A home away from feeling.

Hello Myself Vinoth and I have visited last week and it's a good and neat place for nature love. The treaking and garden activities was great and in touch with nature beauty. The food served was so good and organic. Mr.Arun have maintained the resort so good and caring. I thanks all of them who support our holiday in resort.

It's a beautiful family run property.. nestled in the middle of tea gardens, the views are unbeatable. The owners are very very kind and considerate, and make you feel like family. The food under their supervision was great too. The service staff can be a little bit more enterprising. Rooms are spacious and clean. Would've loved to do some planned treks/ hikes nearby - Recommend it for a quiet, peaceful holiday with a lot of nature.

Very beautiful, calm and scenic location. The rooms & bathrooms were really clean and well maintained. The staff too were very humble. As this property is preferred by families who are vegetarian & don't drink alcohol during their stay, I would request the owner to make the place a strictly NO SMOKING zone. Our trip was partially ruined because of two other families that had come. The two men were found smoking in the parking area. The stench of the smoke was even reaching our rooms due to the wind. Even the cigarette butts were just thrown in the lawn area. Also, when the men moved past our rooms or sat in the dining area we could smell the strong cigarette odour. This was the only unpleasant part during our stay. Also, the quality & choice of complementary breakfast could be improved as it does not reflect the price of the stay.

Exceptional Homestay Experience! We celebrated our baby's 1st birthday here, and it was truly unforgettable! The scenic views, peaceful atmosphere, and warm staff made our stay remarkable. The home-cooked food was delicious! The homestay's surroundings, amidst beautiful tea estates, made our picnic birthday theme a success without needing to venture out. If you're seeking serenity, fresh air, and a connection with nature, look no further! We barely left the homestay, except to explore a few great cafes in Kotagiri. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

This is one of the best resorts to go where we can enjoy the nature,feel the nature,relax and also we can see different views by sitting at this resort. The food they provide is very very natural and fresh.Hot chocolate is highlight and now it became my favourite as they made the hot chocolate with homemade special chocos( Chitram Chocolates), they supply fresh fruit juice.Mostly it is plastic free zone. We opted this resort for 10years anniversary and it gave us best memory for us.
