Late review - I visited with my friends on the eve of Ramzan '25. We didn't have much hope in finding a stay but Mr.Prabhu was courteous, helpful and arranged the room on short notice for us. Great room with good service and at a good location (walkable distance to one of the main junction where you find Moody's and other restaurants) . Will definitely come back here.

A Horrifying Travel Experience - StayVista & MakeMyTrip Booked a stay at Lakshmi Retreat Phase 2, Kotagiri via MakeMyTrip for April 18-20. Received confirmation by the 17th and drove 300+ kms from Bangalore with my wife, 2-year-old baby, and 4-year-old pup. But on reaching, I was shocked to be told that Lakshmi Retreat had no record of my booking. The property was fully occupied, and StayVista (the aggregator) had no clue, even though they continued listing it on MMT. All I had was a useless confirmation email from MMT. Turned to MakeMyTrip support--but they were completely unhelpful. For 3-4 hours, they scrambled to find alternate accommodation and ultimately gave up, only offering a refund. That didn't help me, stranded with my family in a new town. Eventually, StayVista arranged another place--but it was a mediocre option I had to accept due to lack of choice. The damage was done--vacation ruined due to sheer mismanagement between MakeMyTrip and StayVista. Pathetic experience. Avoid booking via MakeMyTrip and StayVista if you value your time, money, and peace of mind Review for Lakshmi Retreat as well as they did not help resolve my issue and drove me away to alternative hotels.

Very good experience.. staffs are very friendly. Owner was taking personal care of our kid special food needs as he had food allergies. Food was delicious. Highly recommended for families who want to spend amazing time away from busy city life..

I booked the room. The cost is too high, services are very worst. Servants are very roode, mangement also not working efficiently. They make customers fool. I am very disappointed. Please don't waste your high amount for this hotel. Atmosphere is good . But other all zero.

Just wowww. Booked the stay for 3 days and had an amazing experience here. Just stunned to see the fog covering entire area and it is soo blissful. The staff is very cooperative and responsible for the hygiene and cleanliness. The see through glass slide is mind-blowing. Private space, private balcony, 24/7 available staff. Free Wifi , Food and what not. I'm gonna visit here again. Trust me, get in here and feel the quality. Sai Ram God bless you all for your hospitality.

We stayed in the Honeymoon cottage for a night and had an unforgettable time. This acco is separate from the main building and you get all the privacy one needs. The views are stunning, The glass deck is a great space to sit around in the day(for those who don't have vertigo), the room itself is very well equipped and very comfortable. Initially, we were a bit apprehensive of the location, wondering how it might be being located so close to town, but then we we reached there, those thoughts vanished. We enjoyed our stay here, and we hope you do too.

Rooms and location were decent, however, service/hospitality was the worst. Wish I could give negative stars for the service

Nice ambience Rooms are neat and tidy Stayed at this resort for 3 nights (31st oct.to 3rd Nov. 2024 Food is yummy. Service is excellent. Climate was enjoyable. Located in the kothagiri town itself. Manager is nice and co operative. Worth for 5 stars.
