Franklin's Finestay

If you guys are planning to visit Ooty - Kotagiri - Coonoor, then you must definitely have a stay at this place. Budget friendly, polite staff and it is highly recommended to try their home cooked food made by Mr. Franklin himself. For food, you have to give order atleast 3 hours earlier. You can find one car parking space in the property. Rest other, the property is spacious, cozy and comfy and can easily accommodate around 4 - 10 people. A must visit stay.

This was our first time booking a stay directly after reaching the destination. We were a little unsure about finding a good stay initially, but this one turned out to be a surprise! Since it was a newly built stay, it was clean and hygienic. The owner was very courteous and sweet. He made sure all the services were provided right and on time. We got the stay for a good deal. The rooms were spacious and along with clean bathrooms. The interior looked good with ambient lighting. We had a toddler with us and the kitchen was minimal equipped to cook for him. The stay also had option of home cooked food. We tried that and it was totally worth it. Both veg and non veg food were good. The locality is peaceful. The stay is 3km from the kotagiri city. There's a supermarket available in a walkable distance for anything necessary. The only thing to compromise was a view from room. We faced water problem one morning but it was resolved immediately on informing. Apart from that it was a very much comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend it.

Delightful Stay at a Warm and Cozy Homestay - A Hidden Gem near Kotagiri! I had the pleasure of being the second guest at this brand-new homestay, and what a wonderful experience it was! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Vinod and his son--it genuinely felt like visiting a relative's home. The house itself is clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. We stayed for three peaceful days, away from the hustle of Kotagiri town, surrounded by calm and quiet. The rooms carry a lovely woody scent reminiscent of old estate homes in the hills--very nostalgic and comforting. The bathroom was a standout--modern, spotless, and a rare find in the Ooty-Coimbatore region. Daily check-ins from the host ensured that all our needs were met, and regular cleaning added to the comfort. Location: Perfectly situated just outside Kotagiri, on the road to Ooty. It's a serene spot with a grocery store just a 2-minute walk away. Food: While we didn't get a chance to try the in-house home-cooked meals due to our travel plans, the kitchen was well-stocked with clean utensils, tea bags, sugar, and other essentials. Fast internet. All in all the perfect place to crash and feel cozy and romantic with your partner after a long day's travel! This is not a hilltop resort or anything so the view is not scenic but resembles a clean European residential street. After all, we go there to travel right? A Small Request to Future Guests: Please treat the space, especially the kitchen and bathroom, with care. It's not easy to find such well-maintained accommodations in this area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR INTERNATIONAL TOURISTS! Cons: Nothing to nitpick. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow and the curtains lacked privacy, but to my surprise, the owner was already addressing both issues at the time we checked out--before we even mentioned them!"
