Anooba Arutra Resort

This lovely resort has just around 5 or 6 rooms but has a great view. Loved the little garden around the hotel. It is located high up on the hill..getting up to the resort can be quite challenging.. a really steep climb. Had been there with kids, but otherwise, it is quite a romantic get-away. The stay there was quite pleasant. The cook was friendly and provided us with yummy home-cooked style meals. The interior design of the hotel and the rooms is done well. Well mannered n kids friendly staff added comfort to our stay. Bottom line : Though a bit pricey and a steep climb, it is a good place to stay with great view, good people, clean air and yum meals. Go for it people!

I had a delightful stay at Kothagiri hill station, and it was truly a memorable experience. The highlight of my visit was the homely, home-prepared food that was not only delicious but also offered a taste of the local cuisine. What made it even more enjoyable was the reasonable pricing. The manager Arun and his family were incredibly supportive throughout my stay. They went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. From offering helpful tips on local attractions to catering to my dietary preferences, their hospitality was outstanding.

The rooms are spacious but the toilets are very congested . It is better to carry your own soaps and toothpaste because they will not provide any toiletries in the room.. nowadays even the local lodges are providing them.The food served in the restaurant is tasty. The way to the resort is very steep so it's better to go with an experienced driver.only 3 cars can be parked.

This is a wonderful resort with ambient view, decent rooms. We went there as a group of o people in 3 rooms and it was awesome. It is situated steep high.. you will love the view of mist from here. They provided a neat and tasty food consisting of chapathi fried rice egg curry chicken etc. and had nice breakfast with Pongal idly Sambar chutney etc. Overall it was a decent experience. It was 16 degree even at 10 O' Clock in the morning..

Good Place to stay with friends and family, Try going to this resort only if the driver is very experienced as the road to the resort is very very steep and dangerous. Resort is placed in the middle of the tea estate and view from the resort is mind blowing. Manager of the resort Arun is very kind and helpful and supporting wherever he has authority. Architecture and engineering of this resort is mind blowing and equivalent to a 5 star hotel, however lack of maintenance there is spoiling those. Food is ok here and can be prepared by request, if you choose to have south indian dishes it is good, but other dishes are not upto the mark. Basic amenities need to be fixed , for ex : bathroom did not even have hanger for clothes.

Place at which the resort is placed is very good, it's on top of the mountain and provides a beautiful by view. Food is good and they prepare as per your request, they are very courteous during our stay. The view from the special room is really beautiful, nothing can beat the view one gets.

This is a very good resort. Nice rooms, Nice atmosphere. Placed on top of a hill with private road. We had good home cooked good for our two days stay. Arun took care of all our needs properly. This resort is one of the best resorts in Ooty

We have been cheated by the youtubers review. Resort is not having hot water at all. We got fever because of that. Not only in our room, same thing happened on all the rooms. Manager Arun is friendly not in helping, only in managing the customer with lies. Reaching the resort is very very Streep. Let's come to food - we can expect only South Indian dishes here. No professional cooks are available. She wants to pay the bill to her individually. Really it is horrible. No room boy is there. For even small things we need to contact Arun. They are charging 4k per day which is worthless. Changed 3 different rooms for three days. Really our trip was spoiled. No indoor games also
