Yagappa Heritage Resort

We always book hotels based on city view locations. So we chose to stay in Yagappa Resort for 2 nights. It was an good experience. We had our 2 yrold kid in the travel. Highly recommended place. Location: Its was such an stunning!!!! view from our room balcony. My husband loved the place mainly for that. My kid loved the open parking space before recption for her to run and enjy. Food: Complimentry Breakfast was exceptional. Mild and digestive yet tasty it was mainly for my 2yr old when it was to travel through mountains. Staffs: Pradeepa, the receptionist and other staffs there were very friendly for our requirements. They were kind enough to bring food and milk for our kid at 10pm. Eventhugh the restaurant was closed. Cons: 1. Mainly, it was the heater, There is no heater in the room. It was freezing for all of us. They could have provided the heater along with room tariff. Not for extra charges. 2.Not much of tv channels. Whoever travelling with kids below 7yrs would love to have kids channel over tv for kids to relax asusal. Not a big concern, yet.

Very unpleasant stay. We stayed one night on 18th, April (yday) and booked 2 rooms. They claim its suit rooms but the rooms doesn't have basic cleanliness, its all tidy. Dusty, bathrooms are very old and not hygiene, pillows and bed spreads are dusty, even for suit rooms doesn't have bath towels and the room service is pathetic as there is only one person to support the room service. Check out is too early 10 am in the morning. Good things, location and decent breakfast. Will not recommend to anyone.

Had an amazing experience in this resort! Rooms are clean and hygienic, staffs were kind and helpful. Location is nearby to coakers walk spot and the resort is much spacious for car parking. The food given there as complimentary is the best, it tastes really like home food. Overall this is highly recommendable if you are looking for decent rooms at affordable price . Great food, location, parking, staffs. Rooms are okay. Last block of rooms need more maintenance. Too noisy while raining because of aspetos roofing.

We stayed there for three days starting from Dec 25 2024. We had booked 5 rooms in total. The rooms and the bathrooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was good. There were some or the other items missing in each room, it's either the kettle or glasses or the tea and coffee sachets etc. Despite asking multiple times for something there is no proper response, they'll say they do it but nothing happened. When we requested the room service for coffee or tea in the morning, they brought it in the cup directly and not in the flask, there was no lid as well. Serving a hot beverage in open cup is not good when we stay in a cold region. They said they didn't have any more flask left as they have served many other rooms as well. So next time we visited the restaurant directly but there was no one to attend us and we waited for several minutes for someone to come. When we ordered lunch or dinner it took hours to come, they said there were only three people working in the kitchen for such a resort with many rooms.This might be because of the holiday season and they are fully occupied, but still tourist places are expected to attract people during such days and they could have handled it in a better manner.

The service was great and very friendly behaviour by the staff , loved the stay and it was very smooth stay . The location is near to almost all places like Coakers park , byrank park , Kodai lake and Avoid travelling in season as it will be hectic in traffic Overall the stay was pleasant and good Highly recommended place to stay.

The rooms were very comfortable. We are staying here for 3rd consecutive time. Room service was good. Food was excellent. The staffs were friendly, kind and polite.
