Sterling Kodai Lake

Absolutely loved our stay at this Kodaikanal resort! The location near the lake is simply perfect - imagine waking up to such beautiful scenery! Our room was lovely - clean, cozy, and with a great ambiance. But the real highlight was the exceptional service. The staff were so warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. They truly made our vacation memorable. We can't wait to come back!

Excellent experience, right from Booking, Checkin. Very courteous staff going beyond the call of duty. Delicious food for Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch with friendly staff. Spa is exceptional Lupuii was very good with care.|Rinesh and SelvaRamar at Front office went out of their way to even get IPhone charger since forgot in my luggage. Definitely looking forward to return with family and friends and stay longer !! Highly recommend to visit and enjoy your stay !!

House keeping services are excellent. Every thing is takencare of with utmost deligence. Rooms and bath room are kept spick and span. services of your house keeping staff velumani needs a special mention .He is so courteous and friendly. His work is highly laudable. Activities and entertainment group are so loveable. Staff Easwaran is so entertaining and keeps us active and engaged.From the front office team to the worker level all are doing extremely well. your restraunt people are amazing.Food is too good. On the whole we feel we are in a paradise. Your hospitality is amazing.Kep rocking.

We stayed at Sterling Kodai Lake for 2 nights with a group of friends, and it was such a refreshing break from city life. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the serene surroundings and how beautifully maintained the entire property is. The resort is just a short walk from the lake, which was perfect for our morning and evening strolls. Some rooms offer a partial lake view, and ours had a lovely one--it added to the whole peaceful vibe of the place. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and cozy--plenty of room for all of us to relax comfortably. The property itself is huge, with so many spots to just sit and unwind. The spa experience at the resort was top-notch too--so calming and well done, we came out feeling totally rejuvenated. One of the real highlights was the food--we were genuinely surprised by how consistently delicious everything was, from the breakfast spread to the dinner options. Great variety, fresh ingredients, and something for everyone. What really made our stay even more special was the amazing hospitality. The staff was incredibly polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. A heartfelt thank you to Crosswin and Ajit--they truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. It's rare to come across staff that genuinely care and make an effort to ensure you're having a good time. They were both outstanding! Overall, I'd highly recommend Sterling Kodai Lake to anyone visiting Kodaikanal--whether it's with family, friends, or even a solo retreat. The calm atmosphere, great food, relaxing spa, and genuinely warm staff made it a trip to remember. Can't wait to come back again

Nice and spacious rooms. Staff were very courteous and polite. Parking was unmanned. After a long and tiring journey, I had to park unassisted in a parking lot a few mins away from the hotel. Signs reading 'parking at owner's risk' - this was a sore sight. I should not have to worry about the safety of my car if I'm coming to a hotel/resort. The reception arranged a day trip for my family for sightseeing in an Innova. The driver Mohan was very helpful and polite. They charged 5500 for this service out of which 2000 rupees was for the veg meal for 4 adults. They did not mention anything about the meal or that they actually had non-veg options when I had booked the service. Even evening tea is charged separately. Not a good feeling to have. In-room dining food was better than buffet food. Overall, it was not value for money for the 15k per room per night I had spent.

Not a great place all in all. Their rooms are below average, closed, no ventilation. Not a good idea for someone who's claustrophobic. Location isn't bad but no lake view whatsoever. Their washrooms smell horrible. Their service staff, most of them are nice except ome or 2. We had an experience with the buggy driver, where he straight up refused a tip and walked away saying "no need " because he wanted a bigger tip. In all honesty, that man deserved zero tip. The security and restaurant staff are pleasant and helpful. Their breakfast is good too. It's an old hotel- yes, understandable. But it either needs to be upgraded in a lot of aspects or cut your cost by half. The only only positive in this hotel is that's it pet friendly and i respect them for that and give those 2 stars. Positives - pet friendly, good breakfast. I wouldn't be going there once again. Sterling resorts usually have a good reputation but this was a low one for me.

We had a comfortable and pleasant stay. The lake view room offered a beautiful view from the balcony. Our sincere thanks to the team for making our visit enjoyable. We especially want to highlight the excellent travel and local tour arrangements, including the well-organized lunch boxes, managed by the Travel Desk team. Additionally, we truly appreciate the daily follow-ups by the Assistant Front Office Manager to ensure a good stay experience.

Stay was very good. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Housekeeping Mr.Madaswamy and Ms. Priscilla took very good care of the house keeping. Spa Ms Elizabeth was very good Parking is outside the property and had to walk a little to park and come back. That is the only problem. Candle light dinner is also not good for the price.
