I recently had a wonderful stay at Spring Valley Retreat in Kodaikanal, and it truly made my trip memorable! The location is serene and surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly, polite, and always willing to assist, which made us feel truly at home. I was particularly impressed by the prompt and attentive service provided by Mr. Riaz, the resort manager, and the delicious food thoughtfully prepared by Mrs. Selvi. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in Kodaikanal, I highly recommend Spring Valley Retreat. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature's beauty!

I stayed at this hotel for one night with two friends, and overall, it was a decent stay. The rooms were clean, and the staff was very polite and well-behaved, making our experience comfortable. The hotel offers food, which they prepare fresh upon order, and we really enjoyed the meals. The location is great--just 10-15 minutes from Kodaikanal Lake, close to the town, yet peaceful. There is enough parking space available, which was convenient. The road leading to the hotel is not tarred or concreted for a short distance, but it wasn't a major issue. The view from the hotel was decent as well. One downside was the availability of hot water. It wasn't available in the evening, which was disappointing given the cold weather. Additionally, the room had no AC or fan, but it wasn't a big concern for us. Considering the budget and the nature of our trip with friends, the stay was good. I would rate it 4 out of 5.

Note: The road up to the hotel is quite steep, so be prepared for that!

Hatchbacks and sedans may scrape their undercarriage. * Positives: * The staff is friendly and accommodating. * The balcony is spacious, making it a great spot for bachelors to relax. * Suggestion: The hotel owner should prioritize renovating the rooms and upgrading the beds for a better guest experience. The approach road to the hotel is steep & not in good condition.Beware , a flight of steps to be climbed , elderly parents will find it difficult. Paint has peeled off in some parts in the room & fungus on wall seen. A constant stink emanating from washroom which is felt in the bedroom too. Worst part - no water supply from 12 am to 5 .30 am ...Inspite of calling & complaining, water supply is not restored. Maintenance is poor. The only best part was the good food served by the one & only lady cook there who served hot , delicious food. Think twice before opting .

It's a good location to stay ,hill top views are amazing and Riyaz (the staff who is supervising the property is quite good for their role )

it's within easy reach from kodaikanal bus stand and building is beautiful architecture to see and all rooms are ascending order with a private balcony and toilet are very clean, hot water is available 6 to 11, 24 hours wify and the receptionist and working peoples are very friendly. the balcony offers a spectacular view of the mountain and cityscapes.. the food is very delicious and affordable price which served by them.. they offer at a very cheap price compared to other places..overall, everything is good worth to stay.
