Great cosy place to stay. The view of the lake is partial but good. The garden is awesome. The room is spacious. Staff excellent. Special thanks to Frankie, who made amazing chinese food. |Not expensive at all. Away from hustle and bustle.|I recommend this hotel.

The rooms are pure luxury. The resort is located in the perfect spot. Our room was lawn and lake view. The view from the room was awesome and the resort was well maintained. Chandan sir took care of us and made us feel like home. Food also felt like home made. My mother who generally avoids eating outside food enjoyed their breakfast . I would definitely stay here again during my Kodai visit. If you wanna enjoy a peaceful vacation, I would definitely recommend this place.

When they saw me arriving in an EV, they very kindly offered to charge my EV on their 15amp socket. This is the most important amenity an EV owner looks forward to in a resort. Although having a 7kw or 11kw AC charger would have been great, a 15amp socket is still much appreciated. On the whole, the staff and the property was a delight.

This place is really out of this world. A small resort with less rooms and world class hospitality. The park inside their resort is superb. You can see kodaikanal lake from the park. And the lawn is properly maintained. Morning.. walking on the grass with mist will give you an out of this world experience. The buffet breakfast was superb. A combo of south indian and North Indian dishes in breakfast. And the staff, they were asking me everything like I am a family member who visited their place. Superb hospitality.

If you want to stay in Kodai with your family in a nice location and safe environment then this is the perfect place. Mr. Chandan Babu , Sai ram, Noble, Mani, Ms Divya and team are very down to earth, friendly & doing an exceptional job with always a smile in the face. They are easily approachable, responsive and will provide the best of services particularly if you're staying with babies / kids & elders . The food is freshly made and awesome. Breakfast is complimentary which also tastes good & also there are bicycles and some sports & game equipments in the place which can be used to play & relax . All over it is a safe & family friendly place providing the best of services in a beautiful location & Mr. Chandan who is genuinely kind and humble is an asset here as he is seen spinning everywhere to set things right like right from the reception to dining, helping guests with tourists spots etc

Absolutely loved our stay at Mountain Retreat Hotel! The serene surroundings, stunning lake views, and cozy rooms made it a perfect getaway. But what truly made our experience exceptional was the staff's outstanding hospitality. Special shoutout to Chef Frank Ye, who went above and beyond to delight my kids with amazing noodles and Kung Pao chicken - they were in culinary heaven! Mountain Retreat in Kodaikanal is truly a gem! The location is breathtaking, nestled amidst serene greenery and offering stunning views. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, providing a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. What sets this place apart, however, is their exceptional hospitality. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home. We stayed there with our 1-year-old, and the care and attention they gave to our child were heartwarming. It genuinely felt like they treated our little one as their own. Highly recommend for families !!

We spent two idyllic days at MRK - Mountain Retreat Kodai(kkanal). A fantastic, relaxing experience.|The hotel is super, the views from the rooms are out of this world and the proximity to the Lake makes an early morning 5 K walk easy to access.|Food in the hotel is of very high quality and Chef Nirmal and his team are excellent. The Restaurant is beautiful, with a large fireplace, lovely views and lots of room.|Chandran and Divya manage the hotel and do a fantastic job.|Highly recommended.
