Mistycove

I have been a constant regular traveller for the last 10 years and no property or stay has left such a positively lasting impact on me. Vaibhav the host has been one of the most gracious people u have come across who would go over and beyond to make sure you have a seamless stay at his fantabulous property. A stones's throw away from all major attractions. The property is equipped with spacious rooms and suites with all expected amenities and boasts of a lush green garden overlooking the famed star shape kodai lake. The view of the lake bustling with travellers during the day and the quiet coloured boats parked at night is an experience you can't miss. The property is superbly maintained, the staff is warm, polite, accommodating but the food stands out. The Chef's skills are out of this world and the food is fingerlicking good. I travelled with parents and an infant and had the most comfortable stay ever. In my dad's words the property is such that "you can't waste time sleeping". It's a sure recommend for anyone travelling to kodai. I am definitely going back for the morning tea by the lakeside, for the barefoot walk on the green grass and the excellent food. Thanks Vaibhav for hosting us and maintaining the property the way you do. 5 stars seem less while rating this place :)

Had a excellent stay, the location is very convenient, the stay, is amazing as well. The staff were very helpful. |The food was very delicious, a special mention to mr. Ganesh.|One thing to be aware of, not a negative but, given its proximity to the lake market, it can get a bit noisy during the day time. The rooms are not affected, but in the common spaces you it can get a bit noisy. |Overall, had a very nice experience, and looking forward to visiting it again.

We stayed at Misty Cove for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. It felt like a quaint English cottage, with each cottage having its own fireplace. They have a common gazebo area that also has a fireplace that we used on 2 out of 3 nights, this is a must do. The kitchen staff were accommodating of our needs and found the food to be tasty, yet non greasy. But the highlight of the property are the beautifully manicured lawns, lovely landscape and fantastic view of the Lake. Would definitely recommend!

We friends had a 3 night stay at misty cove , and i must say it was d most relaxing stay in kodaikanal. The view from property is amazing n accessibility to everything around makes stay all the more comfortable. The room service is very good and not to miss , mouthwatering dishes n tasty food by chef ganesh is really worth trying . A delight for pure vegetarians and jain food lovers too. Thank u mistycove hospitality will recommend to my friends and family .

Excellent property right opposite Kodai Lake with a picturesque view, peaceful ambience, spacious and very clean rooms with attached bathrooms with all required amenities. Each cottage has 2 rooms with a common living room and a fire place. Perfect for a family. Very courteous and humble staff who are always available and serve you with a smile . The food is pure vegetarian , very delicious and menu can be customised as per requirement. Overall I enjoyed the stay and I strongly recommend Mistycove to anybody travelling to Kodai.

Amazing property, beautiful location and the view from the property is just too good. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a seamless and comfortable stay. Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. The best part of the property is its right on the lake and everything around is at walking distance. The food is delicious and can be customized as per our likings Overall, a beautiful homestay experience for family and friends.

We just returned from the most incredible stay at Mistycove and can't wait to go back! This stunning 2bhk villa exceeded our expectations in every way. Perched right on the lake's edge, the unobstructed views were simply breathtaking. Each morning, we'd wake up to birds chirping and boats moving in serene waters, surrounded by lush greenery and majestic mountains. The villa rooms are spacious and well equipped and they have a huge frontyard lawn facing the lake - which makes for a great space for the kids to play. Most of the touristy activities in Kodaikanal (like Bryant park, coakers walk, boat house, cycling, etc) are a stone throw away and within walkable distance which makes the villa a very good value proposition. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, but honestly, we were so enamored with the villa that we spent most of our time lounging by the lake! The hosts/property managers were extremely helpful, responsive, and welcoming. They provided excellent recommendations and ensured our stay was seamless. If you're seeking a peaceful, luxurious lakefront escape, look no further than Mistycove. We can't recommend it enough!"
