The property appears to be in good condition, however the maintenance is really poor. We stayed in this home for four days and had a tough time accessing basic services. The TV did not function; in fact, it did work, but no one knew how to use it. The bathroom tap broke and we made repeated enquiries, but it was never fixed until we checked out. We must climb and reach reception for all basic necessities. Overall, I believe they should focus on maintenance and hire more knowledgeable employees that are familiar with the hospitality sector.

Terrible experience at this hotel. While the view was decent, everything else was far below standard. The room was not clean and had a bad smell, including the bathroom. Water pipes were leaking, and outlet water was flowing onto the bathroom floor, creating a mess. Lights were not working properly, and the TV in the room was a small-sized one that didn't even work--it was just for display, not for use. The hotel management doesn't care about these issues. The staff showed a lethargic response and didn't even bother to check or fix the problems despite repeated complaints. If you try to order food, they promise to come but don't show up even after 30 minutes. When the food finally arrives, it's overpriced, tasteless, and poorly prepared. I booked the stay through MakeMyTrip, where the location was falsely mentioned as near the bus stand. In reality, the hotel is around 5 km away, causing unnecessary inconvenience. It seems they treat guests who book through third-party platforms very poorly. Overall, the location, parking, room cleanliness, maintenance, and service were all terrible. The hotel management and staff were completely unresponsive to any issues raised. The only positive thing was the view, but it's absolutely not worth the price. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It's overpriced and fails miserably in providing even basic amenities and decent service.

PLEASE DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL. 1- No hot water facility 2- Not near to city 3- Room is not clean 4- Tv is not working 5- 1st day without bath we travelled,vr bad time. 6- 2nd day given other room for bath only. 7- No chair at balcony 8- To get toothpaste need to travel 5 min. 9- Not quick response and don't have proper attender. Our two-day stay at Le Grace Kodaikanal was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The service was excellent, with well-maintained rooms and all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The serene location, combined with the peaceful ambiance, made it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Every aspect of our stay, from cleanliness to prompt service, was well taken care of, making our visit truly enjoyable. A special mention goes to my uncle, Chandra Shegar, and my aunt, Moly, who run the place with so much dedication and care. Their hospitality was exceptional--they went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Their warmth and generosity added a personal touch to our stay, making it even more special. Whether it was assisting us with our plans or simply making us feel comfortable, their kindness truly stood out. I highly recommend Le Grace Kodaikanal to anyone looking for a peaceful and delightful stay in this beautiful hill station.
