Hotel Raindrops

It's a decent hotel with a great location inside the city walkable from all tourist spots. The rooms are decently clean. It's just 450m from kodai Lake and there are lots of good places to eat nearby. The breakfast served is good but the service could have been better. Stayed there for 3 nights. Room Suggestion - Deluxe room is better than the suite. Suite is very big but claustrophobic I felt. Deluxe room is good for a family of 3 with a small kid. Stayed in the suite for 2 nights and the Deluxe room the 3rd night. So Suggestion is based on experience. Hope it helps someone.

It was a pleasant experience with the hotel, Staff and the restaurant. Food was really delicious, serving vegan dishes only. Located at the heart of the city many prime tourist destinations are walkable. Best one for the family

The hotel itself looks to be an old property. However, the amenities provided in the room do not justify the room rate. There is no AC or fan in the room . We visited in April, and the weather was pleasant, so we didn't need a fan or an AC. They provide 5 litres water bottle as 1 litre bottles have been banned by the government . The bottle is difficult to pour from . I would like to make a suggestion here to provide 1 litre refillable glass water There was no toilet role in the loo, no soap / hand-wash. We were told to use the shower gel to wash hands. Hand towels weren't provided. We had to request handtowels after washing our hands and realising we had no towel . There was no tea provided in the room. The hotel is a 8 minutes walk to the Coakers walk and a 5 mins walk to the lake and hence is at a good location.

Recently we stayed in Hotel raindrop and here are my experience. Location : Location is quite good, very close to 3 main spot Coaker's walk, Bryant Park and Kodaikanal lake. We went by walk and cover all three places. Rooms: Booked Regal deluxe room, rooms are well maintained and specious. Fans and ACs are not available as it is not required in Kodai climate. Service: Hot water: Available Bath kit: Available Dental kit: It was not available in the bathroom, we were having own so not checked with the hotel staff Kettle : Available with tea bags and coffee packets Wifi : Available Water: they provide 5 liter water can Food Breakfast: Added in plan. Breakfast was delicious, got multiple item such as Poori sabji, Idli, vada, sprouts, fruits, Paratha, juice, cornflakes and milk, vada pav, tea Lunch and Dinner not taken, prices were on higher side, there are multiple restaurants by walk, which you can look for it. Overall, it was quite a good stay for us.

We Two Senior Couples recently stayed at the Hotel RainDrops in Kodaikenal from Feb 19 to|Feb 26 - The Location of hotel, excellent almost in the middle of the city with walkable distance to Kodai Lake and Bryant Park. ||The room was quiet, clean and comfortable ... the housekeeping, and the customer service were great, especially I would like to mention the care taken by Mr. Jay .. he made sure that we have been given a proper transportation from Madurai airport to the hotel and during a rest of our trip and every morning he was making sure that our stay is comfortable. Mr. Ashwin at the reception was also very responsive and caring and provided the timely help with whatever we needed ||We had a few issues with the Wi-Fi connectivity, but the staff were helpful in resolving the problem.||The restaurant Cream Center " A Vegetarian Restaurant " situated on the Hotel Property served delicious breakfast every morning and has lots of choices to offer for Lunch and Dinner and the staff were friendly and attentive.||Hotel doesn't offer Valley or Mountain Views but the Location is perfect, Close to Lake , Bryant Park, Taxi Stand , and hosts of good restaurants just on walking distance ||I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Kodaikenal

The best thing about this place is location. They have plenty parking also. Lake is just few minutes walk. Coakers walk and bryant park are also 10 min walk. Nice restaurant also nearby. Rooms are nice. We had one infront of the football field. The rooms are bit small for price. The restaurant is great and breakfast spread was delicious.

It is very good place to stay. Located at centre of Kodaikanal, so easy to access all the shops and restaurents. service and rooms are good. Specially Breakfast is very good. We 11 members enjoyed rooms and food :).

The rooms were clean and neat. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very tasty. The location was just great for us as its a 5 min walk to the lake, the bus stop and Bryant park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
