what's better than a trip to kodaikanal? staying at holiday home with your friends! the place was clean, comfortable, and had a great view. christopher at the front desk was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. he gave us some great recommendations for places to visit too. definitely a good choice for a relaxing getaway.

We recently stayed at Holiday Home Resorts in Kodaikanal for three days, and we truly enjoyed our experience. The property, built in 1947, has a beautiful vintage charm that gives you a glimpse of the old times, while still being well-maintained and comfortable.||The food was absolutely amazing--we had both breakfast and dinner during our stay, and every meal was delicious. The hotel staff were warm, courteous, and very responsive to our needs, which made our stay even more pleasant.||Overall, it's a wonderful place to relax and unwind. We loved the peaceful ambiance, great hospitality, and the timeless feel of the resort. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kodaikanal!

The resort boasts great ambience and quiet surroundings. There are plenty of open spaces and playground equipment for kids enjoyment. Campfire is an added plus. The views and entertainment called for the 2 stars. The hotel itinerary was neither displayed anywhere, nor were the staffs explaining it to the customers. Although the room and bathroom were spacious, the old building has been ill maintained. The bathroom geyser has a mood of its own. It depends on your luck to see whether you are destined for a hot water bath or not. Besides, if the washbasin tap is turned on, then the shower water gets reduced drastically. The complimentary breakfast was nice, but the dinner was very mediocre for its high pricing. Overall, while our photoshoot outside was a blast and our bellies were content, it was frustrating and a bone chilling experience inside our rooms which resulted in the reduction of the 3 stars. Thus it's advisable to be prepared with a huge arsenal of winter wear.

Peacefull place with greenary.Best place to relax with family. Location near to lost of the spots. clean rooms and well maintained.|Area to improve:|Food taste needs to be improved and Non Veg options are very limited for dinner. Please try to include one more non veg item in dinner buffet.|Rest of all excellent without any doubt.|Special thanks to Christopher for support.

The resort is really awesome. We stayed here during our family vacation. I am listing down the pros and cons which I had noticed: Pros: 1. Very good ambience, 2. Neatly maintained and secure, 3. Nice and supportive staffs, 4. Big rooms with ambient space, 5. Camp fire, 6. Out door and indoor play areas, 7. Food and food varieties. Cons: Rooms are too chilled and no heaters provided (since the roof is not made of concrete, the chillness from outside directly comes inside and its difficult to sleep). Extra 400/day has to be paid for small heater.

Resort has lot of space, big rooms, friendly staff, very green and quiet. We had to vacate a day early since the food did not suit us. The General Manager Mr. Arul sir attended us and helped us very much

We are very much happy to came there and we did not miss our home when we were there the room was give us the experience like we were in our home and our home kids were enjoyed very nicely the room service and things are very quality fully we are enjoyed very well. and I'm very glad and happy to review

Don't be misled by the high ratings -- the only appealing aspect of this property is its scenic location. We had booked a 3-night stay but decided to leave after the second night due to multiple issues: Staff was rude and unprofessional. Complimentary breakfast and dinner were poorly prepared. One staff member denied complimentary dosa from the live counter, calling it chargeable, but the manager later confirmed it was free -- highly unprofessional. The complimentary water bottles were filthy, with visible moss inside. Upon complaint, they replaced it with even worse -- murky water in used 5-litre Bisleri bottles. Rooms had a persistent foul smell. Beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows were so hard they caused neck pain. Wardrobes had visible fungus. We paid 24,000 for 3 nights but left early due to these unacceptable conditions. Not worth the money or the hassle. Addition - we are hit by a stomach infection after reaching home, most probably from the contaminated water
