I recently had a pleasant stay at Greenlands. The room was clean and comfortable, The food was also quite good, with a decent variety and tasty preparations. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure I had a great experience. I would definitely recommend Greenlands to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service.

If you are looking for a peaceful retreat in kodai with family or friends, this place is a must visit. The bison walked peacefully and we saw them nearby.The view from the room was adorable. The well maintained garden is another attraction. Extra play activities there. The complementary breakfast was Good.

Disappointing Stay - Only the View is Good! We stayed at Greenlands Hotel for 4 days and booked a premium room, but our experience was far from premium. * Room Issues: On the first day, we were given a ground-floor room where the geyser was not working. We waited for 2 hours as they kept saying a plumber was coming. Finally, after much frustration, they shifted us to the room we had originally booked, wasting half our day. Even in the final room, the washroom smelled bad, and basic amenities like a toiletries stand, wiper, and stool were missing. The bucket and mug were full of stains, which was quite unhygienic. * Noise & Cleanliness Issues: The hotel has a kitchen near the rooms, leading to constant utensil noises, making it hard to relax. Cleanliness was also poor around the kitchen area. * Disturbance from Dogs: The property has three dogs that barked throughout the night, and shockingly, no staff member bothered to control them. * Food & Tea Quality: The food was below average, and the tea was outright pathetic--even railway tea is better! * Travel Reference Disaster: The hotel recommended a traveler contact named Peter, who initially promised a sedan but sent a hatchback instead. To make matters worse, the driver lacked basic humanity, making our travel experience unpleasant. The only good thing about this place is the view, but that alone does not justify the poor service, lack of hygiene, and overall mismanagement. Would not recommend this place at all!

This was our first trip with our new born baby and Greenlands made our trip memorable. Very clean bathroom and neat room. The highlight of the room was the view from bed. Absolutely breathtaking! The food was good and gave good variety everyday. The staffs were friendly and gave us quick service. Have 3 adorable dogs to hang out with in the common sit out with a view like no other stay in Kodaikanal. Would definitely recommend this stay Our only recommendation would be to make the steel stairs a little bit safer, cos it seemed rusted and scary to come down to the food area.

We had an incredible time here! This place is truly a dream come true; words can't do justice to the breathtaking views. We were absolutely amazed and completely satisfied with our experience. The staff was exceptionally supportive and friendly, making our visit even more enjoyable. A special thanks to Ms. Kohilavani for her outstanding hospitality!!

Im generally not a person who writes reviews but this place deserves a loud shout. Greenlands Youth Hostel will forever be one of my favourite places. It genuinely feels like a peaceful little bubble away from the chaos of everyday life. The staff are always kind, helpful, and make you feel safe and comfortable without being too much in your space. The place is clean, calm, and super well-maintained. Whether it's the quiet mornings, the lovely greenery around, their food, their dogs or just the overall vibe -- there's something really special about this place. You end up finding a rhythm and peace that you didn't even realise you were missing. I've made so many memories here, and it'll always have a soft spot in my heart. If you're someone who's looking for a safe, peaceful, and genuinely well-run place -- Greenlands is the one.

We were disappointed with this hostels we only stayed one night and then moved It lacked atmosphere and was quite run down and dirty. There wasn't a nice common area to sit and there was no information about the local area The staff are friendly but the service is a little strange and not very good There wasn't a nice common area to sit and there was no information about the local area Breakfast not great- we even had to pay for a cup of tea because they only serve tea and coffee with milk The views are excellent though Also their pricing was strange. Their rates are different on their website compared with asking direct. It's a shame because it could be a very good place if it was run better

Heritage stay rooms needs so much of renovation. Rooms were below average. One window didn't close. Staff was not able to fix. The bed was very uncomfortable. They provided option of chimney for fire within the room but was very poorly venitilated, our entire room was filled with somke. There is no intercom phone in room. The place is understaffed. Apart from location and breathtaking views, I wont recommend heritage stay.
