This review was a month due! We had an absolutely amazing experience at this new resort! It is very near from the Kodaikanal City Centre and its incredibly quiet. We 2 families with kids were stayed for 2 nights. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, especially the Resort Asst. Manager Mr. Vignesh and his Team. He is guiding all the way and taken care with kind of our kids atrocities. We were celebrated our son's birthday and Republic Day on the same day. Management offered me a honor to hoist our National Flag and i was really deeply touched. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and offered a relaxing atmosphere. The entire property is stunning, with picturesque surroundings that made our visit so special. It was truly one of the most memorable days we've ever had. Thank you for such a wonderful stay--looking forward to coming back again! What they have to be improved is Food. Vegetarian was Good. They have to look into Non-Veg dishes. I will use this review to Thank the Management Staffs once again. Thank you

Recently stayed in valley view room, which became an great stay for us. Rooms are Spacious and clean .Room Service was excellent. Buffet break fast and Ala-carte dinner was good and all the items are tasty. Location is near to City however the stay will give a felling like staying away from city bustling environment. Fire camp and DJ was played well. Area to Improve : 1. No point in having Swimming pool without maintaining warm temperature. Its a normal pool where anyone cant enjoy due to the weather. 2. Buffet spread is less, where they can add few more items.

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful resort in Kodaikanal! CraigmoreResort has an old-world charm with heritage-style rooms that are clean, cozy, and super comfortable. The surroundings are lush and peaceful,a perfect place to enjoy the scenery. What I liked most was the calm atmosphere and how well they've maintained the property's heritage vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly. Highly recommend if you want a relaxing, scenic getaway with a touch of vintage charm.

One of the best properties in Kodaikanal. Best rooms they call it premium valley view room as the name says every corner of the property is premium the room has a dedicated dinning space, living space and premium bed. The camp fire was fun filled and energetic Break fast spread was good for a compliment breakfast Hospitality was at it's best they treated us like guest but not a customer 12/10 star property

We recently stayed at Cragmore, Kodaikanal, for two nights. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing due to the unprofessional attitude and behavior of some staff members.||||1. Room and Ambience:||||The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, with tiled flooring and a pleasant ambiance. However, one of the rooms lacked basic guest supplies upon check-in, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the property does not provide room heaters as a basic standard amenity, and when requested, a heater was given for 500 plus tax ( GST ) per night--this was charged even though we had an infant with us.||||2. Service Quality:||||* Upon arrival, a Mallu staff member from Nilambur greeted us warmly, but this positive first impression didn't last long.||* The reception staff were very rude and lacked the courtesy expected in the hospitality industry. Their behavior during our checkout process was especially unpleasant. They repeatedly called to rush us, despite us having a crying infant. Eventually, they cut off the electricity in the room, which felt like an attempt kick out ||* The housekeeping supervisor lady and certain staff members displayed an unprofessional and hostile attitude, which was shocking and unacceptable.||3. Management and Staff Behavior:||* The individual claiming to be the General Manager was dismissive and unapproachable. He neither engaged with us nor attempted to address our concerns, which reflects poor leadership.||* The security staff locked the gate during checkout and demanded confirmation of bill payment, an embarrassing and humiliating experience. And unprofessional approach ||* Some staff attending to maintenance issues in the room were dressed unprofessionally ( NO UNIFORM, not properly dressed) and did not seem adequately trained.||4. Power Issues:||On both nights, there were power outages in one of our rooms, lasting over 30 minutes. This added to the inconvenience of our stay.||5. F&B Service:||The breakfast was minimal, with a very limited spread. However, the chef and the F&B manager were polite and courteous, which we appreciated.||6. Overall Experience:||While the property itself has potential due to its ambiance, the behavior and attitude of several staff members, including the manager, overshadowed any positive aspects. Their lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic hospitality skills made our stay unpleasant.||||While the property offers spacious rooms and good ambiance, several areas require immediate improvement:||||1. Front Desk Attitude:||During checkout, the reception staff displayed a lack of professionalism. They only provided the bill upon insistence, which raises concerns about transparency. Moreover, their demeanor was unwelcoming, with no courtesy or smiles, making guests feel undervalued.||||2. Staff Training||||The staff appear to lack basic training. A staff member ( maintenance person ) entered our room without permission while my wife was dress changing, which was highly inappropriate. Such incidents highlight poor management oversight.||||3. Room Design Flaws:||* Cupboards were inconveniently placed inside the washroom.||* There was no safe locker available in the room, which is a standard amenity in similar properties.||||4. GST Charges:||The food ( Restaurant ) was charged at 18% GST. When questioned, staff provided an unsatisfactory explanation, failing to clarify the justification for the higher rate.||5. Food & Service:||While the food quality was decent, the overall service lacked professionalism, courtesy, and attention to guest needs.||In summary, this property has great potential but suffers from poor management and a lack of proper trained staff . Immediate steps are required to improve professionalism, guest handling, and operational standards to enhance the overall experience. Given these experiences, we cannot recommend this property to others. The management must take significant steps to train staff, improve customer service, and ensure basic hospitality standards are met.

We celebrate our first wedding anniversary in kodaikanal and stayed in Craigmore by Kodai Resort Hotel. Their service and hospitality is excellent. Rooms are very clean and superb.Thank you for giving us a best experience for our anniversary.
