Giving One Star because I cannot give 0 stars..Please don't choose this place. It is very far from the town. Even food is not available. Service is extremely bad. Mosquitoes everywhere. Bathrooms leak in such a way you can not use them. Power is not available. They will not have the rooms cleaned prior your arrival. Worst experience ever.

Very bad experience.. Caretaker doesn't understand any language other than Tamil, Unhygienic, very far from city, room service is very bad .. food not available. We were charged extra 1 day's rent as intially we had booked for 2 days but because of the bad service we left in a day.. still the full 2 day's rent was charged. Not recommended.

The hotel is 7 kms away from the city. The approach road is extremely bad. The hotel is badly maintained and the rooms are extremely dirty. It seems that the linen is never washed. No arrangement for food. The nearest restaurant is 6 kms. away. Had to change the hotel the very next morning after a late check in the previous evening. Don't rely on the pictures of hotel and the rooms as shown in different travel sites.

Place is good enough. Maintenance is not up to the mark. Many shops nearby for milk, veggies and simple stuff like Maggi. View is ok from the room, very good from the terrace.

We had a booking from 18th Oct 2018 to 21st Oct 2018 at Amazing Kodai City View Resorts, however due to the pathetic services we were forced to cut short the trip and leave from kodaikanal. If there is any possibility please don't opt for this property for not to spoil your holidays. 1. There is no signage board anywhere in the name " Amazing kodai city view resort". That itself will confuse the customer to reaching the location. 2. No responsible person there at the property for any matter at any point in time. 3. No room service at all - not even drinking water. 4. TV never worked in the room and despite multiple calls no one turned to check that. 5. Room was untidy and full of dirt under the court, not even a dust bin in the room.(After insisting we got a door mat as outside was fully muddy). 6. Passage to the room (Aprox 5 meters from the inside road) is as good as a mini forest. (Very scary and dangerous specially in the nights). 7. They have accepted the order for tea, break fast and lunch on various times but never supplied.When we follow up after an hour they will say sorry pls go out and have. Please note the nearest place is about 7 Kms away. 8. We had to call the contact person at Bangalore (Mr. Muthu) multiple times from resort when the water got over in the night. 9. Driver was accommodated after so many follow ups and reminders. 10. We also feel that these issues are pertains to this property alone and other clients were also were quite upset with poor services. But room services were good in some other properties (Run by other agencies) with in the same compound. After all when we complained to the contact person (Mr. Muthu) at Bangalore, he apologised and assured a refund. But post that no response from him either on mail or on what's aap. Given one rating as there is no option for "0". This same matter has been emailed to the contact person as well. If you wish to njoy your holidays, better some other place to stay. Boby Joseph.

Frauds. Cheated me on my money. They asked me to cancel my booking citing some renovation reasons and said they would refund my advance. I refused to cancel. Later on they did not answer my calls nor my emails to plan for my travel. So, I had to cancel my booking before the set time for free cancellation. Now they refuse to pay me my advance saying free cancellation does not mean we refund advance. Very unreliable and unethical people.

Good place to stay of your visit Kodaikanal but not resorts. Bit costly for hotel food and other services. The road to the resorts is very narrow. No easy access for outside food as it is almost 5KM away from Kodaikanal main area. If you want to stay for 2 days and limited access to roaming then this hotel is right place.

Hotel owner is actually not the real owner . Muthu SP is not the real owner of the hotel . Muthu.SP , PL.Subramanian and vignesh . SP are third rated rouges who played with my money 10,00,000 which has been given to me by my parents. He has cheated me and taken the money on his personal fixed deposit account without my acknowledgement . No:1 frauds. Money minded family . Interested and ready to cheat without giving other's money.
