MMR Gardens Hotel

I've stayed here twice as a female from the UK on business. I always feel safe and looked after. The restaurant is brilliant - delicious food and lovely staff. It's petty clean. A/c isn't super powerful but does the job ...just. I moved from a baking top floor room to 5th floor which was cooler. Nice location to walk the streets, few local shops and an ATM

This is my 4th time i visited this hotel in 10years and 5years after covid. I was here on 2020 my last visited here and the room was super 3 star but my recent visit is nightmare here. I was felt like im in low budget hotel, poor maintenance and very old rooms. No more room for 3star hotel. Air-conditioning not idea whether is working or not. Customer service not bad seem this guy help us change better room after complaining and most of the is the same. Lobby completely make you sick.

I had a horrible experience. If I could rate it zero or minus I would do that. After we checked in,we wanted to rest for sometime after a tiring day. The room allotted to us had a broken toilet seat and unclean washbasin. We informed the receptionist and he sent a person to look at it . We were made to wait there and then were given another room on another floor. Our misery didn't end here. When we decided to rest, we realised that the AC was not working! Called again wanting to speak to the manager, but the person couldn't connect over phone. Finally, my husband went down and asked if they were going to do something about it, and we were told that we could shift to the next room if the AC was working! We tried that, and shifted( there also the AC wasn't that effective). Asked for tea bags, since kettle was kept, but we were told that the hotel doesn't provide. A three star hotel doesn't even provide what normal ones do. Just imagine! We ordered tea and were charged 116 rs! Add to that the next day, after temple visit, we asked if we could have breakfast at 9:30AM since we got delayed fue to the rush, but they said that they would close by then. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Please book at your own risk.

Stayed here for two nights as part of a G Adventures tour. Inconsistent quality of rooms. Unfortunately we were given a room which had obviously not been cleaned for months. Dust and grime on every surface. Also a rusty, broken hose in the bathroom that was leaking all over the floor. I wiped over the grubby sockets before I could even entertain plugging my charger in||Given a 2 star instead of a 1 to reflect that, to the hotel's credit, they cleaned the filthy bathroom fan and repaired the broken hose once our tour guide alerted them. This hotel could be a good choice if they did a thorough clean of all the rooms and public spaces.

Rooms needs pest control and maintenance. Refrigerator & safe locker present in room but not working. Bathroom fittings are broken. Lots of cockroach in room. See attached photos.

Rooms were good for the price; everything went smoothly. However, booking a room by phone involved issues such as late responses and difficulty getting calls answered. The parking lot was so tight and small that we were told to park so close to the wall we could not get in and out of the car. Mainly, the room was not quiet; hallway door-closing sounds frequently occurred,

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of a G Adventures 14 day group tour os S India. Whilst I anticipated budget accommodation I did expect a basic level of cleanliness. The hotel entrance was grubby with stained walls, mould patches on the ceiling and a fithy floor. Every surface was grimy. I used antiseptic wipes to clean the lift buttons before reaching my room. In the room the walls, paintwork and all surfaces, including the bed frame and headboard were extremely dirty. I did not feel able to use the overhead fan which was thick with dust. The curtains were badly stained and stiff with grime. The bathroom was no better with dirty tiles and extractor fan and the grout round the toilet was either missing or filthy.

I recently visited this hotel in april 2025. Horrible service it took 30 mins for water only. AC are not working properly. Food is also not good. Rooms also so old. Bathroom were dirty.
