Recently I have stayed in SRI MANTRA GUEST HOUSE...it was really good stay...located near kilambakkam bus stand... walkable distance frm crescent college also....staffs were very helpful...rooms were clean nd bathroom was super clean....hearafter my regular stay will be here only...

Bathroom & Toilet Cleanliness: Excellent cleanliness in the bathroom and toilet . It was spotless, and I'd give this a 5/5 . Service: The service was average. No complimentary items were provided, and the room didn't have adequate provisions for the cold weather at night , which left me shivering. Rating: 3.5/5 . Location: Conveniently located near the Koyambedu (KCBT) Bus Stand . Ideal for families and couples. 4/5 . I stayed in a non-AC room, checking in at 12:00 AM (Sunday) and checking out at 5:00 AM. The initial room rate quoted was 1,500, but after some negotiation, it was reduced to 1,300. However, I find this pricing completely unreasonable for a non-AC room, considering the quality of services provided. Concerns: 1. Pricing Discrepancy: The same room was listed for just 780 on the Goibibo app . Charging nearly double in person (1,500) feels exploitative. 2. Rate Manipulation: It's apparent that the hotel employs different pricing strategies based on the type of customer (couples , families , individuals , and online bookings ). 3. Local Auto Drivers: Avoid local auto drivers , as many receive commissions from hotels and may mislead customers. Instead, book a Rapido or ask the driver to drop you near the hotel entrance rather than directly to the hotel to avoid unnecessary surcharges. Suggestions: Ensure transparency in pricing to build trust with customers. Improve services, especially for basic amenities in non-AC rooms, to justify the cost. Overall Rating: 3/5
