TAVISH hills Leisure stay

Thanks for getting back to me and explaining the situation. I understand and respect the first-come, first-serve policy. However, if there are multiple customers in discussion for the same property, it would be helpful to inform all parties once a booking is being confirmed with one of them. This would ensure transparency and help manage expectations. In the future, kindly consider clearly informing customers upfront about the need to confirm the booking or make an advance payment to secure the property. I recently stayed at Tavish Hills Villa and had a wonderful experience! The location was peaceful and scenic, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The villa was clean and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities. The staff was courteous and helpful throughout our stay. Definitely recommend it for a refreshing break!

Would never recommend such an unsafe place to anyone. They have two locations and the one we booked was in an uphill where there is no parking and we were asked to park on the road. The guy who came with Priya to help with the luggage was fully drunk. The rooms were very very basic with old beds and broken cots. The TV was not working and when questioned the person running this place Priya rudely said "We are providing a hygienic place and what more do you expect?". There wasn't even any soap upon checking in. When we called to ask her about it, she said she was busy at the moment and could not give anything, and that she would later. What 'hygiene' was she talking about then? People running service industry should know what are business ethics and they should be courteous. The place was totally unsafe with the doors having no proper lock. Our family was made to stay with a bunch of bachelors who were involved in drinking and stuff on the ground floor. There is no security at the property. We booked for 2 days and we just moved out within 2 hours concerning the safety of our family. The main objective of these people is to extract money from the customers. Breakfast suggested for the next day was just 4 idli for each person with just some gravy. We just ran away from the place fearing the safety of our family. We ended paying for 2 days which we never used. Please don't get fooled by social media reels and other reviews. For everything she mentioned about not communicating with her, it was impossible to do so with her as when we tried calling her to tell her about our issues with the room, she interrupted us rudely and said she had other calls to attend to; she gave us no room to communicate in the first place and said we were arguing pointlessly to her, showing a clear lack of respect, hospitality and basic courtesy. She said she'd call us back later but never did. We have posted on this forum twice about our problems with Tavish, but she has made sure to take them down despite responding to them once already with empty accusations at us. One-star reviews on the website are the real ones.

What an absolutely incredible place to spend the weekend! Surrounded by nature and bison roaming nearby--it's like stepping into a dream. The food was delicious, the accommodation top-notch, and the views... oh, simply breathtaking! Every moment was magical. I'm already counting down the days to my next adventure!

we recently stayed in this homestay. we r friends and kids( women and kids). we choose this property as she was girl and felt safe while booking. but she collected full payment before we r in the property allocated to us. room has several flaws like leakage and rats around the room. she said it was due to snacks. we r travelling with kids which was away from shop. we will have snacks. she did not warn us. the door has gap through which the rat can come. we did not sleep properly. poor maintenance and seviving.

******Don't ever choose Tavish Hills Leisure Stay***** *We had our worst experience at Tavish hills leisure stay. Poor hospitality. *Rat was entering the rooms and gave us sleepless nights. *If it rains, you can get a shower from roof for sure. *Complimentary breakfast was just sticky cakey idly, watery half cooked sambar or pongal. That too When asked for alternate, they told they can't change. We tried just one day. When asked meals for lunch, we were told it will have just rice, sambar, curd and egg. NO SIDEDISH will be provided.(As mentioned by owner). *We have to make full payment for the stay even before entering the property. *Security cameras were installed but not secure if any outsiders or any wild animals enter the property. *Surrounding greenery was good but no security at all. * We reached early and was accommodated with another property of Tavish, which was already used by one of our friend the previous day. The owner mentioned in her reply that she gave early accomodation. But that was paid also only. *Finally don't trust all positive reviews of Tavish hills. We have recently stayed in this homestay for a holiday. Even though the location is very nice, it has many flaws. The rooms were spacious but we could see the water leakage by the roof during rain which were not installed properly. Please discuss the items available in the complimentary breakfast to avoid last minute surprises. They have said that the complimentary breakfast will be based on the kitchen availability but they have provided only regular idly chutney sambar and no alternatives and not even a bread butter and jam When we concerned about the size of the idly, they have compromised us like that we have never seen idly before. Worst service as we never had it before!

A peaceful retreat with stunning hill views, comfortable rooms, and delicious food. The staff is friendly, and the location is perfect for nature walks and relaxation. Great value for a serene getaway!
