It was perfect for me and my friends. It's like laidback and going to back to older times. I loved the swing in the center hall. The small village atmosphere around the resort was nice as well. Pool was clean and food was good . One thing I didnt like was the few stray dogs in the compound.

The resort is built with beautiful Chettinad-style architecture and has serene surroundings make it the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The facilities are top-notch, with a clean and well-maintained swimming pool, free Wi-Fi, and ample parking. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed to blend modern comfort with traditional charm. The complimentary Breakfast was a highlight. The staff was incredibly warm and attentive, ensuring every need was met with a smile. The location is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, offering breathtaking views of the garden and nearby hills. A special shoutout to the host, Madhushudan, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His hospitality added a personal touch to the entire stay. Had a Great time !
Never knew there is a beautiful homestay villa is available near to my hometown. Beautiful place located near vellore -karesamangalam. While the property seems to have great amenities like a swimming pool, children's play area, and outdoor space, it's evident that the drawbacks have left a significant impression. Here's a summary of your points: Pros: Beautiful location and well-maintained property. Spacious outdoor areas for games and activities. TV-free environment, allowing for a tech-free retreat. Complimentary campfire Decent service by the staff. Cons: 1. Cost: 26,500 per day seems overpriced for the amenities provided. 2. Basic Amenities: Not providing handwash in bathrooms, even upon request, reflects poor service for the price point. 3. Complimentary Breakfast: Below average with repetitive menu (limited variety). 4. Food Quality: Lunch and dinner quality from nearby restaurants was great, and their in-house cooking lacks variety for the cost charged (500 per person). 5. Hygiene Issues: Cleanliness, especially of the dining hut, was subpar and charged extra for cleaning. 6. Remote Location: Though serene, it adds inconvenience, with food needing to be ordered via delivery apps. 7. Stray Dogs: Presence of stray dogs could be a safety concern, especially for families with children. 8. Mattress Quality: Poor-quality mattresses, along with uncomfortable blankets and pillows, compromise sleep quality. 9. Squeaky Beds: Beds making noise can be disruptive and indicate a lack of proper maintenance. 10. Overhyped Marketing: Instagram and Facebook promotions seem to create inflated expectations. It seems this place has potential but needs better management, hygiene, and value for money to justify its pricing. For anyone planning a large family gathering (10+ members) at this villa, here's a quick note based on your experience: Food Charges: 500 per adult for lunch. 250 per child (above 5 years). Coffee -30rs Tea - 20rs Considering the limited variety and subpar quality of the food offered, it's better to order from nearby restaurants for better value and options While the property has the potential to be a great retreat, these problems make it fall short of expectations, especially considering the high price. It's clear that better attention to guest comfort, hygiene, and overall experience is required.
A Perfect Weekend Getaway Amidst Nature We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this resort over the weekend. Tucked away from the chaos of the city yet not too far from Vellore, this place is a hidden gem for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Surrounded by lush greenery, mango orchards, and hills in the backdrop, the resort offers a truly serene experience. The architecture, blending Kerala and Chettinad styles, adds to the charm of the place. Mornings here are magical--waking up to the sound of birds, taking a walk on the beautifully maintained green lawns, and enjoying the calm surroundings. The swimming pool was a fun addition, perfect for a refreshing dip. Though the food options were limited, every meal was delicious. The red rice kanji with special chutney served for breakfast was a highlight! The staff were extremely warm and hospitable, especially Das, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The akka staff members were also kind and welcoming, making us feel at home. Evenings were special with a cozy campfire where we had the chance to meet the owner, Mr Madhu, and share stories under the sky. The entire experience felt rejuvenating, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to unwind. If you're looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway with warm hospitality, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!
The rating should have been 4. But giving a 3 on account of the amount of improvement required. First the pros: tucked away in the back of beyond, it's a nice getaway. The rooms are decent. There are 6 rooms. 4 below and two on top. Best to pick up the rooms below To avoid the sun. If you have rooms on top, then you have a terrace to yourself. The pool is nice amidst the backdrop of nice greenery. The food is very good. Now the Cons: they need one professional running the place. There are two gentlemen from Orissa and Assam who actually run the place. They are very good. But they end up doing everything. When you checkin or check out or if you need anything you end up having to deal with another guy who has no clue. Like, the rooms ran out of water in the night and not a soul was around. When one is ordering food, best to check prices upfront as otherwise it ends up being super expensive. With a few things sorted, this can be a nice place
