Mehar Inn Hotel

At first I thought the room looked nice with nice fluorescent lights and amenities but the bathroom drain had a foul smell like something died there and at night worms started crawling out of the drain, it was disgusting. The room we stayed had a moldy window and no private parking available so we had to park in the street.

The room is neat and clean but in my room the AC was very noisy and they tried to resolve it. Room service was excellent. Food is yet to be upgraded in taste and variety.

We checked out one of the worst hotels - Chola heritage and checked in here. Felt like we discovered heaven, the hotel is decent for a night stay with good service. The breakfast could have been better as they seemed to run out of things to serve.

Stayed here for a night and two days on a business trip. The stay was pretty good. Rooms were neat and clean, facilities were contemporary though compact. The attached restaurant provided us the basic South Indian breakfast, but the quality was good. Heard that the restaurant used to offer exquisite Malaysian cuisine, but we couldn't see any signs of foreign delicacies. The facility is located slightly inside the town, and not on the main road. First timers may need some assistance in locating the place. However, the interior location has provided tranquility & calm, that take us away from the nose and buzz of the main road. Limited, free, street-side parking available.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well-maintained the product is--kudos to the entire team! However, having an outdoor air conditioner inside the room isn't ideal, as it can disrupt sleep. I recommend finding an alternative solution. Otherwise, everything else was excellent!

Booked the stay at Mehar Inn Hotel for my guests. The rooms were good, and the cleanliness was excellent. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Overall, a good experience. Highly recommended!

Dated :15th aug 2024 It's a new hotel..rooms were near but not spacious..bathrooms were also very small.its purely a budget hotel. BF was very good...purely South India. V need to park outside the hotel and I suggest Karaikudi kitchen for dinner which is nearby..
