Review for Aarthi Residency, Karaikudi (Near CECRI) I recently stayed at Aarthi Residency near CECRI, Karaikudi, and had a pleasant experience. The owner is a very generous, gentle, and friendly person. Originally, the room charge was 1500 per night for two persons, but considering that we were students, he kindly reduced it to 1200 per night without hesitation -- which we really appreciated. The hotel is situated right on the main road, making it very accessible. There's a grocery store just below where you can easily buy essentials like drinking water, soft drinks, fruits, bath soap, toothpaste, brushes, and other daily needs. Nearby, there are several small, homemade messes (canteens) offering genuine, simple, and affordable food, making it very budget-friendly, especially for students and long-term visitors. The maintenance and service were quite okay -- nothing fancy but comfortable enough. Whenever we requested something, like shifting to another room, the owner and staff helped promptly. The place also has CCTV cameras for safety, which is reassuring. One of the best advantages is its location -- just about a 10-minute walk to CECRI, which was very convenient for us. The only slight drawback is that for the basic amenities, some might find it a little costly compared to other options. But with the owner's friendly and helpful attitude, it balances out well. Overall, a budget-friendly, safe, and student-friendly place with a kind-hearted owner who truly cares about his guests!

Worst experience ever. I stayed for night with my aged parents, no room service, dirty toilets, and power is not stable when I ask no response , dirty blankets, bedsheets and pillows with used marks all over. No hot water and if you ask he says he switched it on but water is not warm. AC not coo Felt like I stayed in a lodge. Paid 3000 rs per night as my parents could not travel farther. Better to choose a hotel farther. One of theworst I'm the city I guess. Either improve your quality or shut down as there was nobody else staying in that "lodge" than us I believe no one prefers you already.

Unable to stay. Property owner said my booking is not valid. They didn't link with trip. Com. We got fool by this app. 1st time am facing this. Very bad. No refund, no contact number, no customer support, Unable to cancel also. Totally my money got scam.

Located at main road and alongside the road. But the rooms are on first floor as on ground floor is occupied by shop. There is no lift available and the rooms are very smelly. Quality is not controlled. But it is cheaper than others.

Too worst rooms . No geyser. AC has water leaking issues

Neat and hygiene room at affordable price

The hotel is nicely located. The hotel is situated hardly a kilometer from the station. And Ganesh temple is nearly 18km from this hotel. Rooms are also nice and spaceous. But there some cons as well. The room service is very minimal. Even if you call someone at the reception, no one picks up. No hot water, no lift, no proper parking (only road side). The guy said, some solar powered heater is available, but the rate of heating may not suit us, to plan any outdoor visits. If with elderly people, better to avoid this hotel, as it does not have lift facility, and hot water options.
