Vivekananda Kendra lodge

This place is a different kind of beauty. Very serene, calm and has divinity. The place provies good residence facility, a full time resturant with almost all kind of food and good taste as well as a private beach within the campus boundry. However, this is not a resort rather a place to come, stay, relax and find peace. Many activities for yog, educational practises and functions are regularly done within the huge campus. It's a very calm and serene place, surrounded by trees and the sound of birds.. the lodges are cheap, but should not expect the rooms to be very clean.. we should pre book our rooms, and check in is done only during particular timings..the rooms we booked were spacious with separate toilets and bathrooms, a dressing area, cupboards and a table was available.. canteen is also available inside, which is always crowded and you'll get almost all vegetarian menu in affordable prices

I have booked a cottage for 2 days. The surroundings are truly awesome. Rooms are pretty ok.. Not to expect big in an NPO. Unfortunately, service is pathetic as there was no TV working, no bathroom towel, soap, or any basic things were not available. Had to reception and inform them for the same to get it. If you are a vegetarian, the restaurant gives you decent veg food with a south Indian style. I am not saying a wow food, but I experienced decent, clean, and well-behaved staff serving food. Overall I liked. Again don't compare the hospitality you get from a hotel. It's an NPO.

Great location. Lots of trees & peacock & other birds. Very calm & peaceful place. Staffs behaviour are very good. Highly recommended for staying hear at kanyakumari.

A peaceful location. Decent rooms. Both AC, Non AC and dormitories. Serene and peaceful. Within the large campus (estbd by Shri Ranade,) canteen, bank, ATM, temple, nature park. 1 km walk to Sunrise point in Kanyakumari. A free bus service to station and to Kanyakumari town and boat jetty. Tirupati Devastanam Temple also at walkable distance.
