Ramraj Resort, Kanyakumari

We chose this hotel based on the location for Sunset point. Hotel located this kilometre from the centre of the sunrise point and walkable distance. The sunset hotel is very very bad very nicely. They don't have a kitchen as of now The breakfast is served in their next building on the right side of it. The staff is just amazing, the team and the Reception will treat you no less than a family. They took out care of us. Restaurant restaurant.

I recently stayed here for two days, the property located close to the beach. Service was good enough car parking space. We had booked villa and Rooms were clean but not user friendly. Not enough space to keep our baggages. Toilets were most inconvenient. Actually not worth for money. No restaurant. Only breakfast for those who have booked prior. Should focus more on interiors and restaurant as beings hotel.

We had visited Kanyakumari last week of Dec 2024 and stayed at Ramraj Resort. Special mention to Mr. Manikandan for his efforts to keep their guest satisfied. We want to give thanks Mr. Manikandan for your polite behaviour and extended support for us. Pros: 1. Ramraj resort location is 2 km away from Sunrise point but it is near to the sunset point. 2. The service and the behaviour of the staffs were welcoming. 3. Complimentary breakfast was sufficient and good in taste. 4. The room was clean and very spacious. 5. The view from our room is unforgettable. 6. The entire resort is well maintained. Cons: 1. The restaurant should be available for lunch and dinner.

I am leaving 1 star review as there is no option to give any rating below 1. We booked 2 rooms in this resort for 2 night stay. It's by far the worst hotel/resort I have ever seen in my life for a few reasons. 1. The resort is about a km from the nearest grocery store or restaurant. However, there is no restaurant or room service available. When asked the staff simply asked us to order through swiggy or you have go to the restaurant and purchase it personally. Forget about getting a plate too. 2. The lights and switches were not working properly. The electric kettle supplied in one of the rooms was not working at all. They provide glasses to be used as a cup for having tea or coffee. Did I mentioned that the tea/coffee set comes without a milk/creamer sachet and a stirrer. 3. It took them nearly 24 hours to provide us with bathroom towels. We checked in around 4:30 pm. When we asked them for a towel the first time they said the towels will come from the laundry at around 10 pm and will be delivered immediately. Again when we asked at around 1:30 pm the next day, the guy at the reception told that the staffs have gone for lunch and will be sent to our rooms when they return post lunch and proceeded to go through his phone again. Finally the towels was provided to us around 2:00 pm guess if you have ask again and again for something as basic as a towel then one can guess what will be the scene with the so called hospitality. 4. The biggest shock during the stay was to find our rooms wide open when we came to our rooms post lunch around 1:00 pm on the second day. We were neither informed nor permission was sought from us over phone or in person to access our rooms when we were out for housecleaning. Informing or seeking permission before entering where someone is staying is a basic courtesy and is followed in any hotels/resorts except this one. Luckily we did took our valuables as a cautionary measure. In my opinion this is a serious security threat and one which you can not justify with any explanation. Personally I will never ever visit this resort again.

Stay away from this place. This is far away from the city. To get to anywhere you will need to find an auto. The reception unlike any other hotel, will not help you find one. They will try charging you extra for anything and everything.|The so called complimentary breakfast is cold and ordered from somewhere else. They don't even have bowls to serve food in. They use paper cups for bowls and also for serving cold tea. No option for coffee. All in all, would not recommend

Worst of its kind and purely not worthy for the amount they are charging. I stayed for two days from 21 & 22 of January 2025. No restaurant and food is being served from near by hotels that too of low quality. Complimentary breakfast is also limited (First of its kind). No coffee only tea available. Toilet are full of bad odour and we need to call them for room fresher . Never ever recommend this to any of my friends and family

Rooms are nice but service is very slow. They didn't change water bottles, soaps, asked towels for 2 times but still didn't change. But at checkout time they were suprsingly proactive. Location is little far from zero point or bazaar and the road is little hilly so you have to take auto if not walking in the heat.

This is the worst resort I've ever stayed at - in fact, the worst hotel! It's hard to believe how it has received 5/5 ratings. Perhaps the reviewers have never experienced a well-maintained resort or hotel before. Calling this place a "resort" is misleading. They fail to provide even basic toiletries such as toothbrushes, shower gel, soap, or even towels. If three people are sharing a room, you're expected to make do with just two towels - such a ridiculous rule! The hotel doesn't even have a kitchen. If you want food, you're forced to rely on Zomato or travel 3 kilometers for a meal. To make matters worse, there's no hot water, no phone charging points, the intercom doesn't work, and overall, the services are subpar. Don't ever book this hotel. It was a huge mistake on our part, and I strongly advise against staying here.
