Hotel Narmadha

I am giving them 1 star because there is no option for zero star or negative star. Hotel is worst in every way. Either it's about location, service, Rooms, washroom, staff, facility etc. They even don't provide towel and a Soap which just cost Rs.5/- to the tourists. Door lock was broken, bedsheets was torn from different places, there was no shower in the washrooms and the washrooms was also like ones in 1960's era. You can't expect AC rooms in this hotel. After these all horrible experience at the time of checkout I asked for my Rs. 500/- advance they completely denied about it. And I don't find the person who took advance at the time of booking. Completely worthless hotel. aakhirii sjeshn sbhii ko kRpyaa is hottl ko koii bhii buk naa kre / /

We stayed here a week before Christmas staffs were so humble and good. Room was little comfortable and price was so economical for us. If your looking for normal stay with a cheap price you might want to give a try.

Decent and well maintained budget hotel. This hotel is very close to the all important sightseeing locations of Kanyakumari - just walking distance. They provide just the room with bed, pillow, and a clean toilets with cold water supply and nothing else. Hot water is provided in the room at an extra cost. Coffee or tea is also provide on the room but at an extra cost. They also arrange for local sightseeing tour upon request through their travel partner tie up.

We booked one of the two sea view rooms with a nice outlook on the sea and the town's lighthouse.||From the Lonely Planet we understood that the most expensive rooms were INR 700 but the grumpy hotel chef was strict and said it was INR 1000. As we didn't want to spend more time on finding a hotel we took it for this price. Maybe booking it in advance it saves you some money.||We have to say that the room was nicely renovated. Besides the outlook is ok. The only downside are the beds. To hard in my opinion (and I like them hard) and on top of that the mattress seems to be covered with plastic with feels a bit sticky.||My conclusion is ok but average.

Great, economical, practical option close to the city centre and requisite tourist activities. Simple rooms provide one with all one needs - and at 500 Rupees for a single, one cannot complain. They even have a generator for when the city electricity fails - a great plus!

Location is excellent and the pricing is economical. From a tourist point of view all one needs is good location (this hotel's location is excellent), clean enough rooms (yes they are clean), clean toilet and hot water... This hotel met all my expectations. Will stay again when I visit Kanyakumari.

The hotel is in the perfect location near the ocean and the rent was fair , Car parking is available for 4 cars , Hot water is not available in rooms . Double and three bedrooms available for family , The hotel manager and staffs behaving very friendly Nice hotel for cheap rates

I found this hotel in the Indian Lonely Planet guidebook, but I unfortunately did not have a good experience. As I was just passing through Kanyakumari for a quick visit to the tip of India on my multi-month backpacking tour of India, I was planning for just a one night stay and did not expect much. Thus, when I first inspecte the room, I agreed to it even though it was very basic and did not look to clean, mostly the bathroom was dirty (500 Rs price convinced me). However, when I returned after dinner to my bed, I started to notice bugs crawling on the sheet and me. I examined to find many species and a few that look like bed bugs. After looking at google images, I confirmed that they were bed bugs.||||It took some arguing and visual proof to get my money back before I left to the place next door. I would not recommend unless you are a budget, lucky traveller.
