Hotel Amutham Residency

Hotel Amudham Residency is a decent option if you're looking for a budget stay in Kanyakumari with a convenient location close to the railway station and main tourist spots. However, the biggest downside is the cleanliness -- the rooms and bathrooms could be maintained much better. They felt unhygienic, and basic upkeep seemed lacking during my stay. That said, if you're not too particular and just need a place to crash for a night or two, it does the job. The staff is okay, and the pricing is reasonable for the location. Just don't go in expecting high standards.

Only book this hotel if parking is available on the premises; otherwise, they will direct you to park nearby, often on the footpath, which has led to many guests receiving fines. We arrived at the hotel at night, and the parking lot was full. The staff told us they would provide a parking slot around 10 PM, but they never did. In the morning, the police took photos of the vehicles parked on the footpath and issued fines. When we asked the staff about it, they said they were not responsible. The police usually upload the fines in the evening, so most people only find out after they've checked out. Please be aware of this before booking.

Room no 315, Stayed on 3.1.25. Service-very very poor Noone to carry luggage. No intercom. Only one mobile number provided which noone answers. No hot water in bathroom, even in January No breakfast provided at 8am, despite committing the time. But completed charged for breakfast in room tariff. TV not working. Extremely RUDE staff. Location is on main road,lot of disturbance. Rooms are poorly maintained,inadequate cleanliness , broken glass windows which keep on banging and making noise whole night Not recommended at all

Rooms are good. Staffs are good. But A.C IS NOT PROPER MAINTAINING . There is not a single mechanic to repair the A.C.

We had a very pleasant stay at Amutham Residency. The staff are well trained and offer excellent service. Location is also very convenient to reach and go around.

Clean rooms, changed sheets. Well maintained bathrooms. Good parking. Comes in budget for family or 2 sharing. If you are wh family do not hesitate to take room here.
