AR Residency

My stay at AR Residency was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The rooms were poorly maintained -- stains on the sheets, a musty smell, and a bathroom that looked like it hadn't seen proper cleaning in weeks. The AC barely worked, and the noise from the hallway made it impossible to sleep. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. When I asked about the issues with my room, I was met with shrugs and zero follow-up. Room service? Nonexistent. The so-called "complimentary breakfast" was a sad selection of cold toast and watery coffee. I don't expect luxury at every price point, but I do expect basic cleanliness and courtesy. Unfortunately, AR Residency failed on both counts. Would not stay again and definitely don't recommend it to anyone else.

Our stay at this hotel was the lack of courtesy and professionalism from the staff at the reception. Unfortunately, it's impossible to avoid interacting with them, as the rooms themselves fall short in terms of basic hygiene and essential amenities. Simple necessities such as clean towels, regular water bottle refills, and proper bedding were either missing or not maintained. This made the overall experience quite disappointing.

Our stay at Hotel AR Residency in Kanyakumari was overall a great experience! The family twin room was comfortable, and we appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and toilets. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The only drawback was the parking arrangement. Despite this, we'd recommend the hotel for its warm hospitality and clean facilities.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with modern furnishings and a very comfortable bed. Housekeeping was attentive, and the overall ambiance was peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays!

Rooms are very very big and spacious. Service is good. Friendly staff. Nearby by the sight seen proximity. Breakfast was okay. Family friendly. Parking available. Clean bathroom but don't offer toiletries

Pretty average hotel with all the basic amenities included. The rooms were very spacious, although pretty novice in design. The best part is that this hotel is close to the ticket counter of the glass bridge.

No breakfast is provided & no AC for 1600 price. The bathroom is congested. The location is good to view sunrise point & near the boating point. No drinking water to fill.

Booked here considering the reviews and repented for that. Pros: Location is very nearby (about 300 mts) from ferry point. Rooms are comfortable and of decent size for the price. Nothing else in pros. Cons: First of all, their unethical practice of allotting the room of a lower grade than what I had booked from agoda. They allocated a very small roo which was different than their pics shown in room types that I had chosen. After complaining they gave the right room. If you don't ask they will take you for a ride. They don't bother to provide services to room even after providing their reception number and claiming their service is very good. I had to go down 5 times for everything i needed including getting food delivery to room. They were saying many ppl are checking in that time so don't have staff to serve. Whereas only 2 ppl are there for service to the whole hotel and they take booking to full house without proper staff. If you are driving to this place it's a very very narrow road to reach the hotel with many cars parked on roadside, so be aware of the fact that you can't take out your vehicle from the parking lot any number of times.
