TTDC HOTEL TAMILNADU - KANCHEEPURAM

I stayed with my family in this Hotel for 2 days and 2 nights. It was a pleasant overall experience. The room including the beds, washroom, floor, chairs was clean. The staff was courteous. The breakfast offered was good. The location of the Hotel is also good. Overall, It is a value-for-money-paid Hotel. I recommend anyone on a short visit to Kanchipuram to stay in this Hotel managed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

A very peaceful stay. Rooms are very spacious. Newly renovated rooms are very good . The team of staff are very cordial and they happily attend to all your needs. The food was very tasty and homely. All the staff involve themselves in serving at the dinning hall. Slight care should be paid to regular cleaning of rooms. If one likes a peaceful stay away from congested centre of the town hotels one must choose this hotel.

Similar to other TTDC hotels , this one is also is in a good location with ample parking space . There is a bar within the premises -however the restaurant is only functional for morning breakfast. ||The rooms are spacious, and although a little bit rundown , the housekeeping was OK. The bathroom was clean, the toiletries provided was sufficient, the bed linen and towels were OK . AC was working efficiently . However there were lots of mosquitoes in the premises- the rooms did not have any issue though.||The staff go about their business without being efficient. Bottled water was provided for the first day and the next day we had to ask for it and wait for it . ||We primarily zeroed in the property for its parking and in this aspect we got full satisfaction . Since we had kept our expectations low, we were not disappointed. Overall an average experience .

Renovated rooms.Ample Parking.For triple occupancy had to ask for Towel. No toiletries kept.A/C not working in many rooms, upgraded me, but I am sure not many can be as higher rooms are very few.Breakfast like a home made food. Entire town is infested with mosquitos.They provide repellant, u will be lucky if liquid is available, better to carry an unit.No helping hands for baggage.The uphill task is the property NEEDS TO BE MAINTAINED AS IS NOW. Value for money if it is in week days.....

I stayed here with my wife for two days in Jan'25. The room is average in terms of facilities. They provide towels, toiletry kit but no coffe/tea satchets or hot water kettle. The pillow cover was mildly stained and the room has a musty smell. Some renovation is happening on the first floor. The restaurant seems non-functional. However, you can inform the reception in advance and they will prepare and serve you the food in your room. Please note that the guys in the reception will say that their card reader won't accept credit/debit card and instead ask you to pay in cash or google pay to their personal number. This is a scam. If you insist on a itemized bill then the card machine automatically starts working and you can pay by card. :) Don't encourage such behavior. Always insist on a valid bill.

We stayed here for a day on March 20. Three of us stayed comfortably in one room. Very good room for the price. Good location and good breakfast. A great place to stay on a budget.

I have stayed there for 2 nights on 2nd and 3rd January 2025 with my family. Property is very big. Rooms are good and spacious. The persons operating it are not at all efficient. It is under renovation. Even after so much vast area around it. It's not properly maintained by tamil nadu government.
