Kanchi Shantivan

My family and I recently stayed at Shantivan in Kanchi, and we had a wonderful time! The place is clean, spacious, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are especially nice, with plenty of room to relax and spread out. Parthiban was very helpful and accommodating from the moment we booked the place until the day we checked out. He was always available to answer our questions and help us with anything we needed. The WiFi, geyser, and AC all worked perfectly. And the gated parking was a huge plus. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Shantivan Place. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Kanchi.

Pros:Stay was good. They have a beautiful house with all comforts to stay. Definitely recommend for group of travelers & especially for the families.They do provide hygienic food. They have one car parking in front of house. It's a calm area staying same like in your house. Cons:They need to improve a lot on service.water get stopped suddenly in washrooms when I call the owner then only they started the motor. No body care for the guests whether they have constraints in stay. Wifi didn't work completely when we call for the owner he provided dongle in night but it lasts for an hour. They provide food but costs same like hotel or some items costs more than hotel when compared to the quantity provided.Beware of your ID cards, they took my ID card while check in they said they will return it to me immediately after taking xerox but they never turned up nor informed.They return back my card while check out only that too the card has been bent. Thank God I provided only laminated copy. So consider with all these facts if they really improve their service & hospitality it would be an excellent stay for all guests.

Worst experience at this place, owner not friendly, shown photos of some other place, do not book rooms here unless you know local language.

It was a very nice place for a family or for a group of friends. A 2bhk apartment well maintained and well furnished. We booked a single room (large) which was comfortable for 4 to 5 people to sleep in with an extra bed that's available at reasonable price. Music system (5 surround) & a very big LED TV was an addon if you want to celebrate a bit. Home made food was available upon request at approximately less price than usual hotels. Reaching the place turned out to be a bit tricky at first due to the faulty routes Google maps took us to. But it's only 5 to 10 min away from bus station. Only thing we didn't like during our stay was the street dogs near the house.

It was a excellent time being there in a Homestay. Place is very well maintained and highly hygienic. Rooms was Sophisticated and very spacious. Food is good and homemade native style. Management team is very friendly and generous. We appreciate the hospitality that we received from the team. Overall it was a very good experience.

Quiet location because a bit lost in a part of the city where it's nearly the countryside. Don't hope to find a rickshaw there. Pleasant courtyard but full of mosquitoes. Staff very helpful and always available. Mosquito nets on windows and door. WiFi works perfectly. Cupboards too wet. Warm water in the bathroom. Perhaps a bit expensive.

The owner and room service boy was kind. The rooms were neat and clean. We were 5 adults and had booked this apartment. Prakash silks is 3kms away from here, they have rental auto facility and food is authentic as well. Overall we had best experience

Home like stay away from home. Clean and well maintained rooms. Suitable for peoples traveling in groups. This stay got two rooms and living area, dining area with 59" led tv on living area and smaller Tv in rooms. And wifi They have house keeper will help you throughout the stay. They will arrange homely food and tea coffee
