Hotel SSK Grand - Kanchipuram

A Wonderful Stay at SSK Grand Hotel, Kanchipuram I had an absolutely fantastic experience at SSK Grand Hotel! The rooms are exceptionally spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained--perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing or shopping in Kanchipuram. The hospitality was top-notch, and the staff were courteous and attentive throughout my stay. One thing you absolutely must not miss is the breakfast. It was delicious, with a great variety of both South Indian and continental options, all freshly prepared and full of flavor. It truly set the tone for the rest of the day. Whether you're visiting for pilgrimage, shopping, or just a relaxing getaway, SSK Grand Hotel offers comfort, cleanliness, and great value. Highly recommended!

Newly built hotel situated right at the junction. Less than 1km to Gandhi bajar where u can buy silk sarees and also to Kamakshi Amman temple. Rooms were clean and neat. Parking is limited so that is the only concern but parking staff have been very helpful. Morning complimentary breakfast was super. the restaurant running in the hotel premises is extremely costly and always crowded but the ambience is good and food quality is just ok.

Pathetic is an understatement!! Age old AC and Remote control bad. No hot water!! The bed had one old woollen blanket (which would not have been cleaned for months...??) and no cotton blanket. I was not at all comfortable using it!!! The basement parking is dark, dingy and gut wrenching dirty. The hot water was barely warm!! The complementary kit had one bottle of water (600ml??), one coffee cup, two glass tumblers and a hot kettle, but no coffee or tea sachets!!! The age old TV and set top box with its DC adaptor has dozens of wires all in a tangled mess; all occupying the Tiny table. The room so small, almost claustrophobic!! The free complementary breakfast had lousy hard two measly onion dosas, one hard rice idli, a tiny piece of Kovil idli, one poori, a small dollop of Pongal and a smaller dollop of sweet. The tiny cup of coffee was undrinkable. All of these for Rs.3250 + taxes on MMT and at Rs.4300 on their own website!!! Pine tree was far better the next day at much less price and with a large open parking area. Don't even think about this hotel!!

My stay in Hotel SSK Grand was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend others for this hotel. Pros: 1- Location was perfect (Nearby all Temples) 2- Rooms are Spacious and fresh 3- Room services are so quick and prompt. 4- Specially if you are with family and baby, you would definitely get all your small needs fulfilled by the hotel staffs

SSK Grand Hotel is good for travelers visiting Kanchipuram, our stay here was convenient and comfort. It has easy access to Kanchi Kamakshi Amman Temple. It's a clean and Well-Maintained hotel. The staff is helpful. They have an on-site restaurant, "Nitya Amritham," which has variety and tasty food. This hotel is value for Money.

Very nice hotel where rooms were clean, tidy and well maintained. Service was very fast. Breakfast hall looked like a marriage dinning hall that gave a different feel. Good and friendly front desk people The only drawback is their switches and plug points are all not handy. They should be available near the bed.

The hotel is at walkable distance to Kamakshi Amman temple, Shiva kanchi and beside Chithragupta temple. Parking is available. Rooms are neat and spacious. Service is good. Complimentary breakfast is provided. Kids play area is present in the fifth floor. There is a pure vegetarian restaurant in the ground floor. Food is great in the restaurant.

A grand hotel in the centre of kancheepuram as the name suggests.. From the lobby to the room and final checkout everything was proper and smooth as we planned.. We got a 20 + rooms booked and everything seems to be in perfect place as it should be. Rooms were neat and clean and bathroom also.. Good ambience and reachable location from nearby temples.. They don't have a good parking space.. That's the only negative i have to tell.. Theh should find a nearby parking space for customers to park any vehicles.. They also have a showroom in the first floor for silk sarees.. And have own restaurant in the ground floor near by lobby.. The food was also tasty but a little expensive like any other tourist place.
