Worst Sevice. They Will be Telling for 3 Person room for booking. But, when we reached on 22nd March 2025. They Furnished 2 Person room. Which i accommodate my family. But. The charge for 3 person. Car parking is also worst. Worst Service. Don't go for this hotelor Lodge. Finally they taken 2300/-. For 3 people. But. They given 2 Person Bed room.

I don't recommend this hotel, this hotel has bar and restaurant in ground floor. In night times they start blower which is continuously running whole night and they have installed right after room windows. You feel like some borewell is running beside of you, you won't get sleep at all I experienced it. It's sleepless night. This review I am writing at 4 AM from hotel itself

Good AC rooms at decent price. Very close to Prakash silk, Ramraj cotton, Vara mahalaxmi, varahi laxmi etc. Also quite close to Babu Sah, Kandasamy sah Two wheeler parking in front of hotel, four wheeler also parking nearby. Nearby good food options are also present.

Rooms are very neat and the way they treat the customer is too good. Cheap and best in Kanchipuram. It's only 2km away from Kamakshi amman temple. Worth it

We had a pleasant two-night stay at AKG Lodge, Kanchipuram in December 2024. We booked a triple bedroom (Non-AC) at 1,800 per night, which felt slightly on the higher side, but given Kanchipuram's general lodging rates, it was reasonable. Stay & Amenities : The room was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The owner was humble and hospitable, ensuring a smooth experience. One of the best aspects of this lodge is its prime location, making it highly convenient for temple visits. - 24/7 hot water availability. - TV with Tamil regional channels and other free channels. - Neat and hygienic interiors. Location & Accessibility : The lodge is strategically situated close to some of Kanchipuram's most revered temples.This makes it an excellent choice for devotees visiting the city. The bus stand is also nearby. Parking & Other Considerations : One downside is the lack of dedicated parking. Guests driving their own vehicles might need to park near Kanchi Kamakshi Temple (~1.5 km away), though we were fortunate to find space outside the lodge on both nights. If you have a driver, they can use the designated parking slots nearby, but self-driving visitors should be prepared for a short walk back if parking is full. Safety & Surroundings : A bar is located on the ground floor, which closes at 10:00 PM. While we did notice a few intoxicated individuals near the entrance, they did not interfere with the lodge premises. Still, solo travelers or families should remain cautious, especially late at night. Conclusion : If you are looking for a budget-friendly lodge in the heart of Kanchipuram, AKG Lodge is a solid option with clean rooms and excellent accessibility to major temples. However, if dedicated parking and a completely secluded atmosphere are a priority, you may need to explore other options. Would recommend it for temple travelers who value location and affordability over premium amenities.

Hotel, hotel manager & staff was really good. Rooms are spacious and well ventilated. On main road of Kanchipuram. Nearest to Bus stand, hotels and almost all famous temples in Kanchipuram. Enjoyed stay here and services received from the hotel.

Disappointing Stay Due to Poor Hygiene and Unprofessional Staff I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The hygiene standards were unacceptable--my room was not properly cleaned, with visible dust and dirt, and the bathroom had a lingering unpleasant odor. The bed linens also appeared unwashed, which made my stay uncomfortable from the start. To make matters worse, the staff was unprofessional and unhelpful.Parking facilities is 1 km away from hotel and there is no wallet parking available. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable stay. There are much better options available that offer far superior service and hygiene

Hotel is in prime location and easily accessible to many places nearby. The service provided and the room cleanliness is really good.
