Vasanth Villa

I had a great stay at Vasanth Villa in Kanchipuram. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a peaceful environment. One of the highlights was their own transport facility for visiting temples--it was very convenient and offered at a reasonable price. A special mention to Dinesh from the staff--he was extremely helpful, polite, and made sure everything went smoothly during my stay. Overall, it's a great place for anyone planning a temple visit in Kanchipuram.

Rooms are small but neat and clean including bath room. Staffs very cooperative. Car park just 100 meter away in an open space, they will lock the gate, so safety is good. We liked the stay

Vasanth villa is good choice for the kanchepuram visit. Very helpful staffs and good size of rooms. Each room have 2 bathroom witch is not usual. Reception staffs are very helpful I request another vehicle to visit chennai, they arranged with in 10 minits with good price . Front of the hotel you have 3 weel drive. The guy know all the local silk street shops. Very friendly people around this place. Small shops for food and fast food. Good location when you pass through kanchepuram.

Booked this hotel without any expectations.. Post check-in my experience was really great. Clean, hygienic and beautiful air conditioned rooms with attached bathrooms. Though the room seemed small to my folks but it was quite sufficient to cater my requirements. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. My visit to Kancheepuram was for silk purchase and the hotel was situated at the ideal location. Kanchi kamatchi amman temple, AS Babu Sah, weavers co-op society, restaurants to eat and all which i wanted there was within a 2 km distance maximum. For parking the vehicle there is a small area adjacent to the hotel building. But the busy street road in front was always bothering while parking my car. I would strongly recommend this hotel as i found this hotel best value for my money and couldnt find any negatives during the stay here.

We stayed here for a night with my family and relatives of 12 people after a day long temple visits. Rooms were very spacious, clean with proper air conditioning and good ambience. Rest rooms were very clean and hot water facility is also good. Receptionist and staffs were also very kind. Overall it was a very nice experience and worth for the cost paid. All of my family members are satisfied.

Cockroaches!! It's a nice hotel, well presented, decent location, absolutely great parking facility, (under cover, with a locked gate, one minute walk from the hotel), really friendly staff, efficient check in, we thought we'd really landed on our feet when we arrived. The room was nice, much nicer than some we'd stayed in. There were two medium size cockroaches in the corner near the in room sink. We didn't think much of it, we've travelled a lot and seen a few things. So we swatted them and moved on. Unrelated to the hotel, we found ourselves really unwell that evening and next day so spent the next day mostly in the room and then we saw the rest of the cockroaches. We lifted some of our belongings and found one underneath, then we looked closer, finding them under shelves and cabinets, my partner asked the front desk for some spray, (we're fairly pragmatic), sprayed/swatted those we found and carried on resting. Later that evening we found more, on the curtain, next to the bed, on the walls. We told the front desk who gave us a key to inspect another room, which had more!! But to be fair, they were smaller in the other room. As we had worked to clear the original room already, we decided to stay in our first room and checked out the next day. We had planned to stay another night originally but thought against it. Not at all what I expect from a hotel at this price.
