KALLIDAI HOME STAY

Such a beautiful Idea of turning traditional Agraharam homes into homestays. Kallidai Homestay exceeded our expectations , we had a great time staying here with lots of good experiences and village memories. Pros 1) All the Homestays under Kallidai Homestay are quite comfortable , in a way we get to experience rural village atmosphere with modern amenities. 2) Location is an advantage , it is like the epicenter, if you want to travel Tenkasi, Thirunelveli ,Nagercoil ,etc. 3) Tambaraparani River is walkable distance from the stay to have River bath. 4) At this pricepoint, the stay is very affordable for big families or group to stay. 5) The host is friendly and reliable. Things could Improve 1) In Google Maps on searching Kallidai Homestay only KHS Main is shown , although detailed video about other homestays under KHS are shared it would be more helpful if Each Homestay under Kallidai Homestay Concept is listed seperately on Google Maps ( So That people can choose directly) 2) In a homestay it would be more easy if all rooms had AC ( In case of Non- AC , remotes can be collected ) 3) Atleast 1 more bathrooms can be constructed each Homestay. Above are few suggestions not a Con. Other than that that Kallidai Home Stay is a very Good Initiative , safeguarding our ancestral homes and proving how our old homes were built with multipurpose usage. A viable option if you are visiting Ambasamudram , Kallidaikurchi area, also don't miss to buy the famous KALLIDAIKURCHI APPALAM.

Stayed here last month for few days! The place is divine, calm, maintained well with lots and lots of facilities like wifi, kitchen with vessels and gas stove, RO water, washing machine ! A wonderful stay in a beautiful house which we will remember forver! Kids friendly and no meat/ alcohol allowed. Owner was friendly and helpful from the beginning - he even gave us idea on ho wto reach here from Thirunelveli railway station. Rooms were very spacious and the helper pattu have kept small things like powder, soaps, detergent, oil etc in many places for us to use! Must stay if u have work in this beautiful place ! we took lot of pics with family in many paces in the house <3

This place is neat, calm with lots of features like wifi, RO, washing machine and cooking essentials. It can accommodate a whole family or even more with lots of bed space and rooms. The place is not privacy focused, basically every room is connected. That's kind of a downside but that's not deal breaker for this beautiful place. No meat is allowed inside the place.

Though rooms r pretty good to stay I think service is low on the basis of care taking.

I spent around 3 hours during a recent trip to Tirunelveli and around. This place truly feels like home. It can comfortably accommodate 8 adults and two children. Additionally, there is a large hall which can seat upto twenty people. While only four beds have air-conditioning, the entire place feels quite comfortable due to the traditional Madras terrace roof that has been retained. There are two clean bath attached toilets, along with running hot and cold water. There is a refrigerator, washing machine and a kitchen with gas, induction and vessels. There is a desktop computer as well as high speed internet. Highly recommended just for experience.

Best place to stay in Kaladaikurchi. The owner Mr. Subramaniam has maintained the home so well that it's feel like our home. The gods room is full of Tanjore paintings and great place to do Pooja as all items and provisions are available. One can meditate as well. The rooms are well maintained including the geyser is hot throughout due to solar. I will recommend any family to stay here. We were 7 of us and all alone so enjoyed moving around the house. Kids enjoyed sitting in the verandas and I too loved sitting outside. Thanks Mr. Manian.

Rooms are very Nice & neat to stay. But, we have faced an bitter experience of no water due to motor repair @morning. Unfortunately Till evening no repair works havenot been done. We almost stay 9 persons. We cant use toilets, bathroom or washbasin till evening. It is an unpleasant experience overall.

i had a chance to stay at Kallidai Homestay last week. It gave a feeling of home away from home. Facilities were really good and the owner of the property Mr. Subramanian was very cordial and supportive. The house had beautiful display of antiqueTanjore paintings and all the needs including medicines :) Would definitely recommend this anyone who wants to stay around Papanasam/Ambasamudram/Kallidaikurichi area.
