Black Thunder Resort

I stayed at their resort for 2 days and their workers Devi and Sangeetha were very helpful and gave good service.the room and ambience was all super good. I hv reduced ONE STAR because of the food spice level. They don't have anything less in spice in their menu, they hv to keep in mind toddlers and kids too. Even after asking for less spice level, the pasta was very and my son couldn't even eat it . The mini samosa from kids menu was also spicy which was not suitable for the kids. Even in the morning breakfast everything has green chillies which I couldn't feed my toddler with. So I request the chef take care of the spice level of the food atleast when asked for

Absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay. - The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly especially the reception staff, cleaning ladies, security guards, and staff in the dinning room. - Very pleasant to have a wonder around the gardens. - Can buy a ticket to the waterpark at reception and they have a side gate to the park. - Facilities were lovely, especially the hot shower. - Helpful if you're getting the toy train to Ooty & will pack a to-go breakfast. - We didn't want to stand on the train as only on the waiting list, we went to breakfast and very glad we did because the food was flavourful, delicious, and great variety too

Stayed here for the purpose of visiting water park. The issue is that check in is at 2pm and water park closes at 5.30pm. It would generally take a full day to take full advantage of water park and due to resorts check in timings there is a need to take tickets on both check in day and check out Day to be able to fully complete water park activities. There is no ticketing flexibility offered to those staying in resort, which needs to be improved. Due to this reason only I would rate their service poor as it costs double to enjoy the water park activities. The rooms at resort are very good and the lawn is well maintained. Even the breakfast spread was very well done. Hope they improve ticketing system.

Place is soo beautifulll and values the price for suit room S1 and the room service is so good .especially devi sangeetha who cleaned our room every time we called . Food and their service at buffet is not so good. Only the room service is nice.

Rooms were spacious and well maintained. Location is adjacent to Blackthunder theme park and hotels are available within a few kms. Service was also good except for the lock problem that we faced. They were not able to fix the lock issue till we checked out.

Resort was at good location next to theme park . Food was great after i raised a concern after 1st day . Rooms were clean but the bedding was not clean and got allergies . I had to move my room next day . AC is placed to direct to head which is not optimal. Staff were accommodative.

It's a very good place for relaxation with your family, house keeping service was really good especially Ms Devi and and Ms Sangeetha

Excellent spot, but expensive. Offers would have been good.
