The Den by Trees

The best place in and around Kotagiri for a peaceful stay. Most importantly - much affordable. They have enough space for any number of group. Be it a couple, friends, family.. there are some good options. We stayed in a small den. Totally enjoyed how quite and peaceful the stay was. The service was good. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner if we need. They also have fireplace at night. Overall experience was so nice and I highly recommend this place.

We are visited THIS PLACE for 3 days in May 2025.The WELL DESIGNED,Fantastic,calm place. Enjoyed full play games by Children .Though far from city, VALLEY VIEW is very good.Food Quality also Tasty and Appreciable. One more Important that, ABHINESH is the Person in this resort,helps us so proudly and as a FAMILY MEMBER.He is so cool and Helping Nature . I strongly recommend to COME and ENJOY this THE DEN BY TREE RESORTS once in a year. Thanks THE DEN RESORTS TEAM to make our OOTY TRIP so fantastic and memorable.

I would recommend "The Den by Trees" resort, to feel the stunning beauty of the tea estate and nature & for relaxation of our soul.. The staff were friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the delicious food items particularly inButter Chicken gravy and Chettinad chicken gravy... Had a chance to see a herd of Bison in front of the resort...

The 3 days stay at The Den By Trees was just too refreshing and great. Abinesh, Dinesh and the team here are super friendly and have a clear service mindset. The rooms are designed based on the houses of Kota tribe and look beautiful. The location is the icing on the cake. The majestic view of the tea plantations around and the lights from the far away places is breathtaking especially during early morning and evening times. For anyone visiting Nilgiris area, stay at The Den is a definite recommendation from my side.

Excellent stay in the whole of kotagiri probably. Very good hospitality and service by Mr.Vincent from check in till check out . The manager was also too friendly and welcoming. Well maintained and clean place with Neat rooms. We choose the wooden hut and it was the best Very tasty and yummy food with reasonable options to choose from. Good play area for kids Hot water available whenever needed. We had a different experience strolling through their tea garden and visiting their tea factory where the person in charge explained the process so well and was a unique experience. We also purchased some tea from their brand and it tastes very good. Overall one marvellous stay experience which made our trip more enjoyable.

Stayed in villa room for 2 nights Positive - comfortable room, sofa cum bed for kids was nice, 24 hrs hot water was superb, food was excellent and restaurant staffs were good. Negative - WiFi was not connecting, TV was not recharged, General service needs lot of improvement to take care of guests and their needs. Overall it was pleasant stay in a calm location surrounded by nature at its best. Worth a try.

Very cool place and amazing service. The place is well situated away and above the limits of traffic. Ideal place for kids to be tagged along for a night stay. Lots of indoor and outdoor activities placed. There is a tea plantation next to the property which adds to a little walk and adventure. Overall a must visit place for family weekend getaways.

Actually we planned one day stay . but rooms , service, food, staff's caring is so nice . we stay three days .. two types of rooms ... Good place guys ,value, worthy etc etc . . . My 47'th Ooty visit. Great memories with the den by trees . Good service keep rocking guys ....
