Ram Residency

Rooms were luxurious and they serve the guest with great hospitality. Very easy to reach as there were ample transport communication. Food quality is good.

We stayed from 20 dec to 27 dec 2024. The stay was fantastic. Next to busy road ,highway (GST road), quite rooms. Well maintained by housekeeping (ladies), very polite and helpful. They may not understand English and Hindi much, but they are able to understand our requirements. Very peaceful location. Rooms are clean. No in house cafeteria. But nearby lots of food joints (small but good decent food). Hotel managers are also very co-operative. It was a great stay with reasonable pricing. (Average 1500/ per day). Worth the stay.

Ram Residency in Chennai is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The bed had filthy stains, and we were given just one cot-sized sheet for a double bed. Unbelievable. Opening the cupboard revealed rotting food leftovers from previous guests--absolutely revolting. The air conditioning barely worked, wheezing as if on its last breath and failing to cool the room. It was a complete nightmare. This place is a disgrace, and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs.

Ram Residency, Chennai, is hands down the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. First off, the bed had disgusting stains that made me question if the sheets had ever been washed. Speaking of bed sheets, we got only one cot-sized sheet to cover a double cot bed for two people. Who does that? Unbelievable. As if that wasn't enough, I opened the cupboard only to find leftovers from previous guests! Yes, someone's old, decomposing food, just sitting there. Absolutely revolting. And don't get me started on the air conditioning. It barely functioned, wheezing like it was on its deathbed, barely cooling the room. Complete nightmare. Ram Residency is a disgrace, and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Avoid it at all costs.

Cosy rooms. Good location. Good WiFi. Friendly staff. Room rent depends on occupancy I guess. We paid 2K 1 night for double occupancy (son and I) and got a queen bed. The place needs some refurbishment. One needs to tell the reception what service is required (cleaning, ironing, food) and keep at it. We reached at a period of high occupancy so the already scanty service was even more compromised. Will I stay here again if I had to... absolutely I will.

I had booked 6 rooms for my function, my relatives and friends stayed. They said and appreciated that the stay was Excellent.

The room is not worth for the tariff they charge. it's really very high. (Rs 2000) Bed sheet full of stains and unclean. No proper hygiene maintenance in bed. And usually a complementary water bottle will be provided for each day which was denied by the management. Tariff was also been misguided by the staff working on.

If you are visiting SRM KTR University then this hotel is best cheapest option rooms are very clean they don't have catering service but there is a cheap restaurant near by ...staff is really good and not rude if you are North Indian then might have communication issue
